I've tried to download CFRs, but they either: A) Crash my game or B) Download as .DAT or .RAR instead of .ZIP. Is there a solution or a good site to download CFRs from to prevent this problem? Please and Thank you!

The site you choose to download CS from might only be the problem is the site is made up only of a list of CS available with no descriptions or pictures of the files to be downloaded. Use a site that provides either one or the other. Know what you are downloading and what you expect to see in your game after it is installed.

A .zip file was compressed by Windows. A .rar file is the same exact thing but was compressed by 7Zip or WinZip which are interchangeable when it comes to opening .rar files. A CS file with any other extension has been unzipped (decompressed) and needs to go somewhere in particular.

The steps I do and it works all the time is...
1. Download the item.
2. Downloaded item goes into the Downloads file in My Documents..
3. I copy the item to either /style/themed or /style/custom.
4. I start the game.
