How to create your best landscape in RCT3!

Custom Scenery Needed:

Spice's Trees - http://www.shyguysworld.com/index.php?topic=3442.0
Spice's Pine Trees - http://www.putmeonthenet.net/content/old...nery2.html
Mikes Nursery - http://www.putmeonthenet.net/content/n74...ursery.rar

Part one - Making a forest:

1. Lets start with some flat land.

2. Go to Spice's Trees and place the "Oak", "Sugar Maple", and "Med Sugar Maple" randomly.

3. Now find "Shortleaf Pine" and place those in little "clusters".

4. Now find the set called "Spice's Pine Trees". Place "Pine 1" and Pine 1 Tall" in the empty spaces.

5. Now find the "Ornamental Trees" set and find "American Elm - Mature - Irregular" and place only a few of those.

6. Here is what we have so far. Looks like a forest, right? Only I think we have a little too much green. Lets fix that.

7. Lets go to the terrain texturing tool and paint some random patterns. I usually just use the grassy and muddy textures.

8. The forest is almost done, but it's looking a little flat. Use the raise and lower terrain tool to fix this.

You may notice when you are doing this, some of the trees will float.

To fix this, lower the land where the tree is until it drops down and is touching the ground.

9. Just keep tweaking it until you have some natural looking hills.

Floating trees is why I always place foliage last.

Not a bad tut, but it dies need more ground shrubbery.
