Is it possible to see the amount of downloads of other people's files or the number of people who viewed a certain thread on RCTgo 5.0?

No I dont think it is, you can ask people though, if they're comfortable with it they should have no problem telling you
As for the thread thing, no I dont think that's possible at all
You can see exactly how many downloads any existing file has by placing your cursor over the Download button and waiting one second. It will say "Downloaded [number] times". There may not be a way of doing this if you're browsing on a mobile device.
There is no way to see exactly how many views a thread has, but you can still sort the threads in each subsection by views and compare which threads have more views than others.

For the downloads hover your mouse pointer over the download button and an info window opens showing how many times a file has been downloaded.
