Vote for your favorite track! Round 175

Chima, the thing is that its more difficulty to build good/great looking tracks with all the limitations that RCT2 has.
I speak for my own, but my criticsm level is alot lower on RCT2 Creations than RCT3 ones.

That mean, that entries like "Sword Art Online: The Ride" need way more details to become a good look. And supporting in NoLimits isn't difficult, additional a RCT3/NL entry without an PoV have bad chance against an good RCT2 Creation.
That's a reason for me why "Venom" is out. And the use of the same color for track/train isn't a good choice, too. But thats only my opinion. Other people could like this.

BtW, normally NieSch creates an PoV from his RCT2 Creations, too.
That's another point to him.

"JungleExpedition" isn't bad, but "Track on Ground" is a NoGo (a selfnamed RCT3-King like Murph should no this) and the buildings looking blocky and build with original RCT3-Elements than CSO's.

"El Trueno" could needs some ground textures and one or two trees/bushes but it is the best entry in this round, finish!
And after some posts in the last build-it thread from Murph, some members maybe won't vote for him in fact of his arrogant attidude "RCT3-King".

No one can say from his/herself that he/she is a "Masterdesigner" or a "King".
These titles are awards from other members, like i said: Silvarret is a "Master in Architecture".
But Silvarret never say something like this from hisself! And thats make the differents!

My attidude isn't maybe the best, but i don't say that i'm better than others, i only say what i think about other ones work and what they could change. If some members can't deal with it, not my problem.

I have some RCT3-Projects in "WIP" so everyone can give criticsm/feedback/suggeston or only negative Feedback against me! Don't be shy!
But the only thing the kids do, put me of ignore, how cute is this (and really adult).
If a teacher gives you an bad note in school, did you the same and ignore him?!
I would say no, huh? Think about it!

Anyway, RCT2 Designs can win a build-it competition if they are good, and "El Trueno" is good enough to win this!
"ian44accordx and "Maverick360" are new to this, so they have time to learn and improve there skills/talents. Maybe nexttime they entering an better one.

I think you've overlooked some screenshots as well. This time I also made a version of the rollercoaster including "landscaping": ground textures and trees. Biggrin

(The reason why I present the rollercoaster "naked" on the main screenshot is because I want to show the ride exactly the way you can place it in your park. I treat the Build It! competition as a competition for coasterdesigns, not rollercoasters embedded in landscapes others can't reproduce.)

I vote for El Trueno, It is quite good regarding the limitations of RCT2, and i think stands out in a weaker round such as this one.

El Trueno: Good ride, realistic layout, and flows well - Especially for RCT2

Jungle Expedition: Good ride, but fell short in some aspects, the track on the ground with no supports being one, and very little of it was actually jungle themed. Using a mine shaft set in a jungle coaster just doesn't look good at all. Not a bad coaster, but definitely room for improvement.

Venom: Good track, but had absolutely NO scenery whatsoever.

Sword Art Online: Looks okay, but has little to no scenery, it would need a lot more effort to be an actual contender in a competition.

@NieSch:
Only stone texture is the same as only grass Biggrin
Maybe my explanation was wrong, i mean it could be a bit better looking if you use a variety of ground textures, maybe the brown earth one and mix it with the green/brown jungle'ish one additional to your stone texture Wink

But i've overlooked the PoV, that's my bad Rolleyes, but i watched it just in this moment.

I voted for it because it looks awesome and it's more original than most other rides, not because it's RCT2.

Favourite 2 were the RCT2 and no limits ones.
I the other ones could have used alot of work. Less repetitive scenery, more effort in surrounding areas and better realism.
I find your in-ability to amuse me... depressing.
