Thorpe Park :: General Discussion - CARL99 - Jun 10, 2005 Edt By RCT3X :: What do you think of Thorpe Park? What would you like to see in the future? What do you think is the best ride? Let us know..... Heres the official website :: http://www.thorpepark.co.uk/ - Cluno - Jul 6, 2005 Is thorpe park in England? - Shapiro - Aug 3, 2005 That's London area. Click here for map Alec - G-Force Junkie - Oct 22, 2005 Thorpe Park is the Daddy Park in the South of England, give it 5-6 years, and it will easily rival Alton Towers, Thorpe may not have as many coasters as Alton, but its getting there...especially with the arrival of (codename Project Stealth) arriving in 2006 and another for 2008.Thorpe smashes over Alton for Flat Rides....and the fact theres no Height restrictions at Thorpe as opposed to Alton & Chessie, just ups the odds, also the space around the park is huge and can be developed. ![]() - G-Force Junkie - Oct 22, 2005 If anyone wants to know ANYTHING about Thorpe Park...Im the man, ive been 5 times already this year, and about 15-20 times in the last 3.Its like my second home, im designing Thorpe currently on the game, itll be finished in about a month....looking very good, just finished Colossus Today....god im such a hero!! - Knighty - Oct 29, 2005 Went yesterday fr the 3rd time....and it was my worst theme park visit EVER. Queue times for Colossus and Nemisis we're almost 2 hours all day long ;.; I've never seen such bad queue problems. I never even went on Slammer (though i went on Samurai a lot (single rider queues for the win!) - G-Force Junkie - Oct 30, 2005 I went to Frightnight last year......never again. The Park reached 18.000 capacity, queues were coming out of the queue lines, and a complete waste of time it was. Best time to go is early September as i did, i managed to ride 28 rides in a day lasting from 10.00 till 5...this must be a record.Frightnights are commercially good...not for a G Force Junkie like me they arnt  RE: Thorpe Park :: General Discussion - Mstokesy - Dec 3, 2005 I tend to try and avoid all theme parks at busy times! Best times to go is during the week and before or after the school holidays. I hate the queueing! lol. Last time i went to Thorpe... Colossus had about a 10 minute queue and I managed to get on the front car of Nemesis Inferno straight away. It was just a shame that about three of the rides were shut - Samurai being one... has that still got the anti-male seats? lol RE: Thorpe Park :: General Discussion - Knighty - Dec 3, 2005 Lol, the only reason I went was because my sis was going with friends so my mum said we may as well go too since it was only 1 extra ticket for 3 people (2 for 1 offer). RE: Thorpe Park :: General Discussion - Shaun Allsop - Dec 9, 2005 Ive never been to thorpe park. I must agree with g force junkee though. As alton and chessi has restrictions I can see thorpe taking advantige of this oppertunate and good luck to them. But it allways seems to amaze me that every new year seems to bring better technolagy, bigger rides and the limits allways gets pushed further than before. I cant wait to see what happens to alton chessi and thorpe in the next few years. |
