RE: Chat Room - Blu - Oct 28, 2012 Yes, I figured that would work with Windows 8 but now they release it and they just make their own. RE: Chat Room - RCTgoMatthew - Oct 29, 2012 ^ Windows 8 looks really awesome! =D RE: Chat Room - Blu - Oct 29, 2012 Indeed. I think it's starting to look way better that a mac now. ![]() RE: Chat Room - RCTgoMatthew - Oct 29, 2012 ^ In my opinion, Windows all ways looked better than a mac. RE: Chat Room - Blu - Oct 29, 2012 Only Windows 7. XP was awesome but didn't have a very good display because it's so old. Then they got Vista that was awesome at first but then turned out to be sucky. Every computer I have it on it gets so slow. I'm probably going to get Windows 8 and/or Photoshop CS6 for Chirstmas. ![]() RE: Chat Room - Ardy - Oct 30, 2012 Windows 7 is horrible. I prefer Windows XP, because it is really easy to navigate and make sense of things, especially if you use your computer to make CS and stuff. Windows 8 looks more like Windows 7, because they are not made for business use like creating CS, they are more for personal, facebook, and twitter use. And... what if RCT3 won't work with Windows 8? UGH... I just can't stand seeing my laptop look like a smart phone! RE: Chat Room - RedRain - Oct 30, 2012 ![]() Shown here it takes longer to load than others RE: Chat Room - Ardy - Oct 30, 2012 It's worth it, plus I don't turn my computer off that often, I just put it on standby. I also hate the Windows 7 bar on the bottom, it takes too much of the screen space. My laptop is around 2005, it is Windows XP and Windows Vista compatible. Actually, I think the Windows Explorer is sucky on XP because it just has a bad interface. And the version on my school computers only shows programs and the my documents folder. There's some fancy way you have to get to all your program files without shortcuts. If I was a graphic designer (for a carrier), I would be making perfectly fine logos on Windows 7 just as I am now. Windows 7 is both user friendly for computer experts like me and noobs who don't know anything about them. It's just that the noobs don't know what their looking at if they click on the computer button. I don't really know what you mean by CS making being "business", either. Any software program that is for Windows XP is for any later Windows versions, no exceptions, because you can only get more advanced technology, and you can't lose the old. Only improve it. With a Mac on the other hand, you can barely play RCT3 on it. (Oct 30, 2012, 07:40 PM)Rct3Demos Wrote: UGH... I just can't stand seeing my laptop look like a smart phone! The only part of Windows 8 that is comparable to a smart phone is the start menu. It's basically the same thing that they've had for all versions, but now it's represented in a more modern and efficient way. And the only reason for this is because they made Win. 8 compatible with tablets, but they just call it Windows RT. Microsoft is only innovating with their technology. I do agree that XP was good, but I think Win. 7 and 8 are way better. But then again, everyone has a different opinion... about PC's and Macs.
