I heard about this. What a sad story, considering how deaths on roller coasters are almost unheard of.

Details Emerging I dont even know what the kid is going through after all of this and if the lady who was behind her story holds up that women should not only be fired from her MinWage 8 dollar an hr job but I think charges should be filed Im not one to say heyyy lets sue or hey charge this person but in this case It could of been prevented again if the story holds true

Anyways...
The woman who sat behind her doesn't seem to have a reliable story. She said she heard the T-bar restraint click, but Gerstlauers hydraulic restraints don't click. Also, did the woman fall out on a turn or on the double down? The double down seems more likely....
This is a tragic event, and whatever happend at SFOT needs to be fixed.

Well, obviously they cut corners on safety....or maybe Texas state law isn't as strict on ride safety as the ones in the state that I live in.
I see a lawsuit and a firing happening...

i think by 'click' she means like you could hear it lock, maybe not a click but a different noise....?

But Gerstler uses the hydraulic restraints, which don't make any noise as far as I've heard.

Yeah, no noise. Which makes me want to think that this might not be "operator error".
