Pretty much I got it for 100$ CDN at Staples(Business Depot) and the have the near exact same model but it burns DVD R DL at 16X instead of 8X for 80$ CDN. Why does something better always go cheaper after I buy something?
Also when I'm playing movies(DVD's) I have to turn down the read speed to 2X so the processor can keep up and it can barely keep up at 4X burning speed, the buffer almost empties, so i burn DVD's at 2X speed

When I installed XP Home onto my Dell I set the 40 GB as the Primary Master drive and I got a 250 GB drive set as Primary Slave.

Built my own.
ASUS P4 Motherboard Socket 775
INTEL P950 3.45Ghz Dual CPU overclocked to 3.6Ghz

SoundBlaster Xtreme Music XFI Sound Card.
Nvidia MSI 7900GTX Video Card with 512GB DDR3 Memory running at 1.6Ghz and Core Clock at 650Mhz. Overclocked Mem to 1.7Ghz and Core to 670Mhz.
Don't know what else to say Except that this Video Card takes up X16 PCI Express Slot and is double wide with this huge lime Heatpipe and Radiators for cooling have to have a larger than 120mm fan to cool the system.
Runs very very smooth.
