RE: Opinions on My New Park. - Tammy2000 - May 12, 2015 (May 12, 2015, 03:47 PM)Cobra Wrote: So you want to go pro style, huh? It's funny you should say that, I've been browsing YouTube for the past hour and have been watching his videos, very informative. I assume I will need CS packs for trees, buildings, coaster supports, coaster catwalk sets? The only thing I'm curious about is the coasters themselves. Does it matter if I use in-game coasters or do you recommend I spend time to really customize my game properly complete with CSO's for everything? I can't wait to really get this park on the go ![]() ![]() Thanks, -Tamzin. RE: Opinions on My New Park. - Cobra - May 12, 2015 Good to hear that you check out Silvar's videos out. His tutorials are helpful and his architecture skills are outstanding. Definitely one of the best designers at the moment. You can use ingame coasters, but i prefer "CTR" versions of the ingame ones, that have more positive aspects: - no ugly ingame station platforms - more trackparts available on most types (mostly on B&M and Intamin ones) For tracked rides other than coasters i would also choose CTR's more, but it's not necessary. You're right, CSO's for more/less everything ![]() versatility, in my opinion. For some basic importent CSO/CTR creators: - Parallax / TheCodeMaster / Coasterfreak90 / Technodude (CTR designers) - StationJimJr (creator with a lot of variety in his CSO sets, that covers up different themes) - ShyGuy (MainSteet and AlpineVillage sets are one of the most used sets ever) - Ralfvieh (german CSO creator with nice usable sets) - OldSpice (Trees and Foliage are the sign of this creator) - Osudenny (fountains and tropical sets if you need) - Belgabor (invisible stuff, perfect for completly cso build parks with peepable restaurants, etc.) - Weber (let it "rock", you want rocks, than you need sets from him) - Vodhin (path accesoires like lamps, trashbins, benches in high quality, especially lights) For pathcovers (that are necessary for CSO parks) you have "Briantjuh94", "Shiggs713" and "Shyguy". They have the most variety in it and fits to other sets from other creators if it comes to borders, etc. Now the coasters, well each coaster type has more/les personal cso sets that covers up the support stuff and also the goodies, like catwalks, breaks. Most common ones are: Mobys SteelJungle v1&v2 (the main set if it comes to supports, especially for B&M coasters) CPciscos Moby's SteelJungle Addon (a great addon for Moby's support set) SafariJsArrowPack (for supporting ArrowDynamics and Vekoma) BigBurgersTimber v1&v2 (for supporting Woodies) Gary Roach's Coaster Goodies (Catwalks for B&M's but can be used for other coaster too) CoasterJoes (Intamin supports, footers & B&M connectors) Technodude (LIM's, LSM's, Brakes for a lot of different coaster types) There are so much more great and useful sets out there, so sorry that i can't cover up all of them ![]() The CS-Depot "CS-List" is your first station for CSO's, CTR's and CFR's. If they have not working links, google is your friend and at last ask us if you searching for a specific set without knowing the name of it ![]() And now have some fun with downloading hundrets of sets and checking them out. ![]() So long, Cobra RE: Opinions on My New Park. - aecrouch2016 - May 12, 2015 The Custom Scenery Depot http://www.customscenerydepot.com/ or http://www.customscenerydepot.com/cslist/index.php These are the sets I would recommend to add to your library: (many are the same as what Cobra mentioned) GRP- B&M Catwalks Set http://www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1764 Moby's Steel Jungle https://app.box.com/shared/sxgisxe9gr Cpcisco (B&M Footers and Steel Chaos) http://www.customscenerydepot.com/cslist/index.php?user=339 shyguy sets - all (depending on what you are making) http://www.customscenerydepot.com/cslist/index.php?user=194 station Jim Jr - all (depending on what you are making) Note: With Station Jim Jr's sets I would always have on file: Gardening 1 http://www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1705 Gardening 2 http://www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=2148 Random Things (one of my favorite sets, so many things to use ![]() http://www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=2101 Shiggs713 Path Covers/Expanded Path Covers http://www.customscenerydepot.com/cslist/index.php?user=471 Vodhins Light Kit V2 http://rctgo.com/downloads/view/10121 So many more, you just need to browse and see what you need. I'd be glad to help you find a set if you are having a hard time finding it. ![]() RE: Opinions on My New Park. - Cheleste - May 13, 2015 Only thing i can suggest is that you go for the hints that aecrouch7113 and Cobra pointed out. They do my job if i'm not that active here, and they do it great. Normally i'm one of the members who pushes new ones into a right direction and what they could do or shouldn't do. Sometimes in a really directly, roughly way. ![]() But if you post something more of your work, you'll become some feedback. ![]() At this early stage i can't say to much. For the future i would recommend to show your screens via the "insert image" option. It's easier for us to see directly whats going on, than a link that leads to a other webpage. Cheleste |
