The point is, and this is for everyone: Do not self reveal your entry. Period. It gives an unfair advantage <Or> disadvantage to the entrant. Regardless of how bad or good your entry is. Even though there is no rule to keep these rounds anonymous, you should keep it that way to make everything fair.  

That means, vote for which entry is best, and do not bring it up when someone self-advertises themselves. Not everyone will notice, and you exposing the issue is only going to garner more views of that mistake.

Now, please, let us get back to this round.

BlazingEmpireHD Please read Justin's post. This will be the last you will hear from me on this matter. Good luck to everyone who entered the round. Justin stated in a recent post 
"The competition rules do not require the creator of an entry to keep their entry anonymous. We give all users who enter in the competition the ability to remain anonymous by not listing the creator on the voting page. Requiring entries to remain completely anonymous would be extremely burdensome for the reasons Chris mentioned above. Users who choose to reveal that they created a certain entry, either on the forums, through a POV video, or elsewhere, do so at their own risk." See screenshot

I think after looking at all the entries I have my own cc to give out

Tropic Thunder: honestly I'm looking at the layout, and I'm seeing points where it touches the ground. A good b&m coaster should never once touch the ground, its not very realistic. though I love the color scheme. What it lacks in variety of scenery it make up for with the color choices and a near perfect layout. Keep up the good work.


Qabr: this one for me was a close second to my vote. The Magenta track stands out from all the sandy brown coloring of the Egyptian landscape. If it were me though I would've had hyper trains on it instead of floorless trains. To me it looks way too intense for a floorless coaster but a close second to my vote

Mine Escape: this actually was pretty good for a wooden coaster by it would've been better off as a mine train coaster. Great idea just the wrong type of coaster

Dueling Bobs at Alps Adventure:

I had to give my vote to this one. While I agree that the texturing and foliage need work, everything else overall makes this my best pick in the round. I agree the foliage and textures need work but the ride looks amazing and creative, I've never seen dueling bobsled coasters before. On the ride I would've suggested making the trains different colors on each side. Most dueling coasters I've seen, made of wood, had the same track colors but the trains on each side were painted a different color. Something to keep in mind for future dueling coasters. Dispite the "vanilla" look it gets the point of the swiss alps across. Just keep in mind to use more realistic texturing next time and more foliage. This is much better than The Ice Palace by a long shot. I like both but if I had to choose between this and The Ice Palace, this would get my vote hands down. great work

You're missing my point. It is 100% totally fine if you mention which entry you're picking, just as long as you do not disclose who made it.

To be honest blaze you make a very good point, if you disclose the creator's name you're giving them an unfair advantage.

Amy don't leave, everything will be fine. The whole anonymous thing was my fault, I should've read the rules better. The reason it happened the way it happened is because I entered the contest before I sent my questions to Chris, That's the reason it appeared I self promoted after he specifically said don't do that. When Justin uploaded the entries it appeared that I had just gone ahead and posted my name anyway after Chris asked me not to. It was my fault, I should've waited to upload my entry til after I had all the answers I needed. It's my fault guys, I'm new to the contest and still learning the ins and outs. Please don't leave Amy, and guys please don't argue and start banning people and all that nonsense. It was my bad, my mistake. I appreciate the friendship from you Amy, and my new friends on here as well, I honestly believe it just got blown out of proportion. Everything will be fine. Hope everyone's weekend was great and everyone has a great week.

I do not know why I try to defend anyone anymore. I tried to approach this in a way whereas no one felt hurt or misunderstood. I am rather upset to have seen Amy fail to notice what I was trying to convey and now as a result, this has all happened. I hate to see drama, I HATE IT. Now, Amy seems to be leaving, and it is real great to know I participated in that. Frown Maybe it is just a big overreaction, from me, from Amy, from anyone who replied, but we can't exactly change that.

If you still see this, Amy, I'm sorry. If not, it is a real shame to see you go. This is certainly a downer, seeing you go. Frown
