cool vid

Im guessing they have a cap limit on how fast the download can go. Or maybe beelitz isp is getting heavy traffic! dunno

- Beelitz - Oct 24, 2005

I think there's a cap. It was downloading at 22kb/s. Rapidshare ranges from 100 to 400 kb/s. I downloaded ATI's newest catalyst and the rate was 830kb/s. Why do they put a cap anyways, so we'll subcribe?

- Ryan Gordon - Oct 24, 2005

It will stop spikes and help control bandwidth usage. And yes probably also trying to get you to subscribe. Also it probably demotes public use somewhat, so the site doesnt wind up closed because all of the server space was used or spikes happening too often, or bandwidth running out too often.

Sure is a long query line. I know you said you weren't finished themeing it out yet, but I think putting a building in the middle of the two mountains would look cool. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
