Me and my friend sat in the driveway with my mom & dad, handing out candy and talking about our past Halloween memories. When I was a kid, we took a pillow case as a trick-or-treat bag, as the paper bags we used would get wet from the dew on the grass, and eventually weaken and bust open. Unknowingly, leaving a trail of candy behind us. We went outside our own neighborhood to our friend's neighborhood, which was HUGE. One house was always overdecorated, but they handed out the full sized candy bars. Usually that one was gone by the time we got back home. But enough remenising...
The house next door to us had nobody home. The other next door house had kids, so they went out with both parents, so they had nothing to hand out. Our neighbors directly across the street are Britt and they were clueless to the tradition. They finally returned home around 8:30pm. On the either side of them, nobody was home. About three houses down, someone else was handing out candy. So two out of ten houses in our area of the neighborhood handed out candy. We had a lot left over. Which is good, because my Dad picked out the chocolate, and I got the bubble gum and lollipops.
Now I'm pickin' gum outta my beard & mustache.
