RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - zach_gamer77 - Feb 5, 2011 ↑ Good point RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - gci2011 - Feb 6, 2011 Thanks, both of you! zach_gamer77: I'll post a full list of CS once I release a download. Right now, just about everything in the park is CS, lol. rewnis12299: I sure hope it's better than Boulder too ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1976 Hello, Its been a few weeks since my last update. Since then, the High Street Train Station has been completed. Turnstiles for the Main Entrance will be installed next week. Take a look below. -Janet Rohrs Here's the exterior of the HSTS looking towards the entrance. Here's a better head-on view of the HSTS. [Note: There are dormers in the empty spots on the roof, they just don't show up because I zoomed out a bit] Here's the interior of HSTS. Queue railings have been installed, so you can get a general idea of where the queue is. RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - zach_gamer77 - Feb 6, 2011 Looks like you used ShyGuy's Main Street sets. Am I right? RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - gci2011 - Feb 7, 2011 ^Yes, of course! ------------------------ 1976 Hello, Work is still progressing. Turnstiles have been installed and a picnic shelter has been put up as well. We've got a new shop going up on High Street, rumor has it that it's going to be some type of eatery. We'll have to wait and see! -Janet Rohrs Turnstiles have been installed in the Main Entrance. The picnic shelter was built with families in mind! RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - Drew_ - Feb 8, 2011 What is the CS in the Newport Pleasure Gardens?? With all the signs. The thing you walk through? RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - gci2011 - Feb 8, 2011 ^ All of Shyguy's Main Street Sets 1-9 Dasmatze's Path Covers Shyguy's Water World Sets Shyguy's Expo 3000 Set Marnetmar's Leftoverz Caederus Drehkreuz Set 2.2 (no idea what that translates to...) Dasmatze's Fences and Railings I think that's everything so far. I'll post a final list once I release a download. About the signs, no idea where they came from, they just showed up in my Billboard folder under the Scenery Icon. The pictures are my own (at least the ones so far *hint hint*) 1976 Hello, More work on the park - take a look below. It's getting colder here now that fall is setting in. -Janet Rohrs This new eatery has gone up - it's going to be an Ice Cream Shop. The inside of the shop has been furnished with a few tables and vintage ice cream advertisements on the walls. RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - gci2011 - Feb 14, 2011 1976 Hello, Another project has been completed, take a look below. Work will be going a little slower as winter starts to set in. -Janet Rohrs We've finished our biggest project so far - our Grand Theatre. We've got plenty of ground-level seating for our patrons. You can also watch the show from above, as we also have a large upper level. RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - gci2011 - Feb 18, 2011 1976 Hello friends, This will probably the last update this year, as most of our work will stop for the holidays. Expect to see very fast progress once work resumes! -Janet Rohrs We added signs to our street lamps recently - they look good! This new eatery was recently finished - we're calling it "Corner Café" The Corner Café will serve hot coffee and fresh-baked pastries to our guests. RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - gci2011 - Feb 23, 2011 ***Note: These shots are very WIP. I haven't had much time to work on the park lately. Please comment! ------------ 1977 Hello! I hope all of you had a great holiday season! I know I enjoyed the break, but I'm happy to be back to work on this exciting project! We had a few warm days last week, so we took advantage of them. Our first ride has been successfully installed, the High Street Carousel. We hope to be open by spring of next year, so hopefully work will start going into overdrive mode! Take a look below -Janet Rohrs Ooooh, these planters look nice. But what's that at the end of High Street? The High Street Carousel is now in place. A man-made pond and waterfall has gone into place behind it, but rock-work and other landscaping isn't done yet. High Street really looks nice from this angle. Expect to see more progress soon! RE: Newport Pleasure Gardens - gci2011 - Mar 2, 2011 Please comment! ---------------------- 1977 Hello! We've been very busy on-site lately, but I haven't been able to update you lately because the park execs are getting touchy about what I reveal. I've been negotiating with them, and this is all they'll let me show for now. Don't worry, I'll keep showing pictures as often as possible. Lots of progress has been made. High Street has been finished, and the landscaping around our waterfall has been completed as well. More rides will be installed soon, I'm told. Check it all out below. -Janet Rohrs The completed waterfall looks nice from here. The new yellow building houses the All-American Eatery, serving traditional American fare: burgers and fries. This queue cover has been added to the carousel to provide shade for guests as they wait in line. |
