RE: Yeathrow Park - Shaun Allsop - Jul 30, 2006 looking good Mr Monkey RE: Yeathrow Park - Scotland - Jul 30, 2006 looking great RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 30, 2006 Today the park released their new plans for the park, many are excited by the developments and construction shall begin shortly. Here's a few details on the plans. 1. First is a new Sci Fi thmed area, the area will be set in 2050 and be sponsored by Essol. We are in talks with the BBc about a Dr Who 2. This part of the park is a Huge jungle area which is going to have our Zoo animals in and 2 coasters, planning has already gone in for the invertered coaster and the "other" coaster is yet to be seen 3. Prehistoric theming will arrive in 2008, but will be stored in the theming Workshop until 2010, due to terraining and landscaping. 4. This area has not been fully planned and is subject to change due to costs of new theming. However the park wil have decided by 2010 5. The Kiddie land is only temporary until the new theming arrives, until then only 2 new falt ride will join the area and there will be a new pathway system. Thanks Drayton Monkey, Project Leader. RE: Yeathrow Park - Scotland - Jul 30, 2006 looking good plan can wait for it to get into place RE: Yeathrow Park - Gamesonline - Jul 30, 2006 Can't wait. Suggestion If you are going to build a Sci Fi thmed area in your park. You might want to think about using Custom Scenery. The SpaceWorx set will help you alot. Try it out when it come out to the public which should be next week. Link RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 31, 2006 Quote:Suggestion Unfortunately, my PC can't handle custom scenery as it only has a little bit of RAM, but soon I will be upgrading. I think you'll be surprised at what I'm going to do with the regular RCT3, space theming. Oh yeah and I updated the plans! RE: Yeathrow Park - Shaun Allsop - Jul 31, 2006 yeyness, cant wait RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 31, 2006 Well we have a BIG update today, and let me tell you there's gonna be a few Big changes around this little park! Here's a good overview of the park so far, as you can see the park still has quite alot of land left, but all that's going to change soon! As promised, "The Land of Tomorrow" opened on the 1st which is very unusual for the park usually they open rides mid season and then have huge marketing campaigns to get people to come. The entrance area to the park had to be shut while this structure went up, and it took most of the closed season due to the rounded walls that the builders had never used before. Here's the Planetarium and the new Mini coaster side by side. Another shot of that darn good coaster! Warp Drive the new rotot Drop opened a week after due to the train getting stuck at the top of the tower. Fortunately no peeps were hurt. But Health and Safety had a few things to say. The new horror theming arrived and was put into place. Yeathrow Park's Last queuejumper seen above The Pussy Cat Dolls also performed live as seen above. And Wheely Scary got new signs and a new station. Continued in my next post! RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 31, 2006 Ever wondered how the park gets all of it's new theming done on time. Well what I didn't mention was the park has an on site Workshop that makes all of the theming to spec. Here's their latest work on the new Prehistoric area. The new anamatronic (sp) dinosausrs. Quite alot of animals. The deicated team park their cars next to the Worshop and head to work. As seen from the skies. RE: Yeathrow Park - Nuclear Fish - Jul 31, 2006 Coolness! Although you said the sci-fi area had something to do with Dr Who... in Spaceworx JCat has made some Daleks... |
