RE: TOP SECRET theme park - Schaffie - Jun 25, 2007 Octane, isn't that better know as kerosin? And aren't rockets powered by hydrogen and oxygen? RE: TOP SECRET theme park - wolfman - Jun 25, 2007 For a full explaination on "Octane" visitWwikipedia It depends on what you want to convey in a thought or a name. "Octane" in this instance, is a mesurement unit. Not a fuel, but a rating. RE: TOP SECRET theme park - Schaffie - Jun 25, 2007 Is that like that you have Unleaded 95 and Unleaded 98 over here? Then it's better already. RE: TOP SECRET theme park - Drome G60 - Jun 25, 2007 Can we please get back on to the topic here? ![]() RE: TOP SECRET theme park - wolfman - Jun 25, 2007 OOPS! Sorry. It was a name suggestion that seemed to get off track. @ Schaffie: Lets take this to PMs. RE: TOP SECRET theme park - Drome G60 - Jun 25, 2007 ![]() Anyway, I think you shoul put UFO landing points into your park, it might make it look more realstic ![]() RE: TOP SECRET theme park - wolfman - Jun 25, 2007 Drome G60 Wrote: Yes, make the UFO landing pads as realistic as possible.
I'm sure there has to be a few examples out there where UFOs land on a constant basis. (: RE: TOP SECRET theme park - Schaffie - Jun 26, 2007 Search on internet for photos about UFOs landing ![]() Well, I think you should make it a raised platform, with neon lights (there in a CS in this CSO databas I believe), and steel/sci-fi catwalk next to it. RE: TOP SECRET theme park - wolfman - Jun 26, 2007 Well, I'd start with something that looks like a helecopter landing pad, but on a larger scale. Put it on top of some corrigated steel building, with a steel lattice structure that may raise it an additional level or two. Maybe tall & large enough to hide a drink stall, burger bar or sub shop underneath. I'd use a few fog effect objects, some acrylic or glass walls, to kind of sci-fi it up a bit. There are a number of custom flashing walls and floors that are out there. If you can't find them, I'll send you what I got. I would then add an elevator, to help give it a high tech look. Maybe a two short whoa belly towers, so guests have something to ride once they get up there. That's just a few ideas. RE: TOP SECRET theme park - Coasterkingg - Jun 28, 2007 Sorry for not updating for some time ![]() Ok, back on topic. The thing I'm trying to figure out is something for the park. It's way better than custom scenery, but by the time I probably figure it out, the park would be finished. Oh, well. I promise I'll work on the park tonight. |
