LOL RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - coasterfreak900 - Oct 26, 2009 By the way, I did ride X2 last September and never told you all about it. It is a lot smoother and has different colors as well as some cool effects. (Onboard audio with sound bytes taken from various movies and songs, nice bright LEDs, gas jets shooting fire, you name it) any of you who live around southern California should go there and ride it. Very wacky rumor: NASA is planning to add a real roller coaster escape system to their Aries I launch pad to allow the astronauts and ground crew to quickly evacuate the launch pad in an emergency. In just 85 seconds, the roller coaster will take anyone on the top of the launch pad 380 feet straight down to the ground and into a bunker to safety. Don't know about any of you, but it would sure be exciting to jump on a roller coaster to escape an exploding rocket. ![]() http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/constellation/main/railcarevac.html RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - SuperGoldChicken - Oct 26, 2009 (Sep 14, 2009, 08:17 PM)SonicTheSilverHedgehog Wrote: Then what are you learning in 7th Grade? Heck yeah! That would be the sick nastiest thing ever! RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - coasterfreak900 - Nov 15, 2009 Talk about wacky. This really made me roll my eyes and I can't get over how wrong it is. At the very most, only 3 people have ever died due to a brain aneurysm or blood clot, so don't take this seriously for a second. RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - TC8950 - Nov 22, 2009 I dont belive that but you can die If you rode a rollercoaster 24/7 RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - coasterfreak900 - Nov 23, 2009 Roller coaster have g-forces which vary and are high or lower than what we normally feel, but they aren't close enough to do anything, even if its 24/7. This has been proven since World War. On the other hand, large, lasting constant gs will eventually have an effect, and being hung upside down for hours can kill you eventually. But I wouldn't worry about any of that. RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - SonicTheSilverHedgehog - Nov 24, 2009 Even though this video should never be taken seriously as nothing they say seems to make sense, I don't recommend a 4 year old to go for a ride on Superman, but I guess that matter has other issues to it other than getting a brain aneurysm or blood clot from a theme park ride. And if this was true, don't you think they would have found out about this problem earlier? RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - TC8950 - Nov 24, 2009 They are dum dums... |
