Hey Aecrouch, just a quick suggestion that popped into my mind while reading this.
The section with the memorial site, how about calling that one "Memory Lane", and make it, as the name implies, a lane with flowers and decorative scenery on the side? Just throwing that out there.
Looking forward to the next progression post!

Looks better than most actual shops I've visited. Plenty of space to move around, products aren't piling on each other, shop is not flooding with goodies. Clean and simplistic.
