RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - coasterfreak900 - Nov 27, 2009 If its the G-Forces that supposedly cause them, then simply jumping 2 feet in the air is more likely to cause a brain aneurysm, because the impact from even 6 inches off the ground exposes you to far more g's than a mere roller coaster. (according to physics, the impact from 6 inches is 5-10 g's) Its very momentary so it doesn't injure you, but its been proven to be more hard on your body than any roller coaster. It is a lot smoother and has different colors as well as some cool effects. (Onboard audio with sound bytes taken from various movies and songs, nice bright LEDs, gas jets shooting fire, you name it) any of you who live around southern California should go there and ride it. I WOULD SO WANT TO RIDE THAT!!! ![]() RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - MrMunroe - Dec 14, 2009 (Nov 27, 2009, 05:19 PM)coasterfreak900 Wrote: If its the G-Forces that supposedly cause them, then simply jumping 2 feet in the air is more likely to cause a brain aneurysm, because the impact from even 6 inches off the ground exposes you to far more g's than a mere roller coaster. I can jump about a foot off the ground on a scooter. So that means that a scooter is more dangerous than a rollercoaster? XD RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - TC8950 - Dec 14, 2009 no wonder why peeps go splat after a 50ft fall lol RE: Wacky Coaster Rumors? - coasterfreak900 - Dec 19, 2009 (Dec 14, 2009, 03:33 PM)jackthedog501 Wrote:(Nov 27, 2009, 05:19 PM)coasterfreak900 Wrote: If its the G-Forces that supposedly cause them, then simply jumping 2 feet in the air is more likely to cause a brain aneurysm, because the impact from even 6 inches off the ground exposes you to far more g's than a mere roller coaster. Just stiffen your entire body and jump a few inches off the ground. It will allow you to feel the full force of the fall without your natural tendencies to absorb some of the impact.
