RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Aug 3, 2006 2010 sees a huge update to the park, the park has added over 5 new rides, and pleanty of shops and attractions. The year started of with most of the scenery for "DinoLand" being sent to it's new home and loads of construction work in the Jungle themed area, meaning that until June these areas were fenced off! But when they did open they were very popular and the Media Days went very well. The park had a new Revolution ride added in the Jungle area, this ride has quite a high capacity and most peeps love it! They also added a Big wheel to the park, which proved sucessful! The new rapids opened, and were an instant hit! great for cooling off on on a hot summer's day! The Lion's Den, a new lion's show opened and proved sucessful, with many of the not so daring peeps seeing the show! From the travelling fair group "Bobby's" a metorite and Chaos ride were bought and called "Roar" and "Rumble in the Jungle" A revolution was added as was a new coaster, which I'll show later.... Also a Round up ride called "The Snake" proved to be very popular! 8) RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Aug 3, 2006 The park also added a prehistorice Area called "DinoLand" which isn't scheduled to open until 2011 but the media were allowed in to have a look around. The park have also said that they will be improving the theming on the rides and that when it opens next season it will be much better and will have a new entrance and transport system. Here's the new mini Dinosaur go round. This is the main coaster called "T-Rex", it's not the final name for the ride but it will have a new better suited name when it opens in 2011. Here's a few more screenshots of it. RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Aug 3, 2006 Here's the other ride in the area a Top Spin called The Wolly Mamouth. This is the planning offices. As you can see the prehistoric theming has gone and now there are loads of cars and signa that are advertising new speedways? We also saw bits of coaster track but they were probably spares for T-Rex. Here's the main overview now, as you can see it's getting alot more crowded and Bigger. RE: Yeathrow Park - Gamesonline - Aug 3, 2006 I like this image : http://www.rct3madness.co.uk/Yeathrow/7/4.jpg Loving this park . RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Aug 3, 2006 Yeah it reminds me of Fiasherman's Cove at Drayton Manor where there's the rapids under Shockwave! RE: Yeathrow Park - Scotland - Aug 3, 2006 Loving the park cant wait for more RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Aug 4, 2006 2011, was a great yaer for the park, Dinoland opened to the public and a new racing thmed area next to the entrance did too. This area of the Park is called Boddington Race Circuit and is themed around cars and racing. There are 4 new rides in this area, on of which I thnk you'll reconise from Colourful County. Anyway here's a few pictures of the new area! Brought to you by Ford! Here's a nice overview of the new area. The new vintage cars ride (Hot Rod Racers) proved to be a Big hit with the guests. Maniac moved further towards the entrance and was given new signs. Only this time actual cars were used to promote Ford. Speeway Rcaer's (A Twister from HUSS)'s station. Here's the entrance to the race circuit, as you can see Ford have sponsored the area and have their new S Max advertised in the Showroom. Another look at the vintage Cars ride. The new Twister ride proves popular. A nice overview of the park! Comments appreciated! RE: Yeathrow Park - Scotland - Aug 4, 2006 great can wait for more RE: Yeathrow Park - Gamesonline - Aug 4, 2006 Nice race track RE: Yeathrow Park - RCS2K4 - Aug 4, 2006 I was unsure at first, but it looks like the park's coming together nicely.
