Yes resorts from beach resorts to Ski resorts will be available. In fact the new resorts theme was voted for the second release themes candidates as was the winter theme, so this is happening. In fact a few mega luxury liners may also be built and flagged as amusement parks...yes cruise luxury liners for ocean cruises. TPB3D goes well beyond a theme park or midway. Remember my friend that cruise ships and ski resorts are also theme parks of a sort... fun is always fun no matter what format it is in Wink

3 new 3D theme park games not one anymore. If Atari and other commercial publishers of 3D amusement park games thought that one was enough, imagine 3 biggrin.gif ... The TPB3D community will now have 3 separate games. The original TPB3D is to be headed up by DoctorJ and his associates. A competitive game coded differently will be headed up by AlabamaCajun and his Associates and a precision theme park modeling 3D CAD program under the current auspices of TPB3D-CAD is heading up by The_Cook and his associates. Meanwhile old and new ride modelers and scenery modelers coming aboard. Things are ramping up again as the next flood of rides should push the TPB3D community to almost 200 rides which will be the new mile stone. Likewise tree and fauna modelers have appeared to help on those ends as well.

The latest new rides in the works include the (1939) Coney Island Parachute Jump, Sartori Technojump and the Moonraker ride with the Coney Island Giant Wonder Wheel now in our radar sites. Also we will be working on the latest huge Megawheels so lots more coming...stay tuned.

Coding for TPB3D following the original mandate is now progressing under DoctorJ and his associates. A lot is happening and a true working FRCS on a landscape is already nailed. It does exactly what the FRCS creator originally intended. Pictures for now are not available until everything is prefect in this respect. In addition, other ride types such as walk-ins and tracked rides both coaster and no-coaster should be fine too as coding has progressed on this front since original Co-Founder DoctorJ took over the coding end of this project.

The reason for this is that the then lead coder The_Cook decided to make a CAD Park modeling program rather than a game variant, and that was not what the original "Game Design Document" was all about. So we are reaffirming the game for users so that they will get what the GDD mandates, that will also include seasonal foliage too.

Meanwhile original master modeler and the first to model flatrides for TPB3D "WCBoudreaux" has returned and together with other modelers such as GermanTaco and soon a returning Star_Ranger4 and many others are continuing to build many new rides for the game. Here are some of the newest rides and photos will change through progression too.

Other rides in progress include the following:

Moonraker

Other rides on hold include the following.

Himalaya
Music Express
Troika
Scorpion

Many trees and other plants will soon be forthcoming as well. Pics will be posted in our official wikimedia for your viewing as they all happen.

As you can see, the 1939 Coney Island Parachute Jump based off the original designs has been nailed and safely in the repository. This type of ride will use the FRCS and make use of the new bulleting features. The new FRCS up and working well. My understanding is that it makes and breaks apart the Eli Scrambler less textures and can make up new rides from the parts, a very nice deal, but it gets even better. It does this on a landscape. The new game coding is progressing very rapidly now at a high speed pace, a lot of the base coding is getting nailed rapidly. No new pics yet but as soon as they are in, I'll go ahead and get stuff posted for the community. My understanding is there are now 5 open source 3D games around, not just our one anymore. The future will indeed be a grand one Wink stay tuned for more news.

We actually all now call RCt TORCG or "That Other Roller Coaster Game" as it has such a modern sound to it, short and final too. So you must be talking about TORCG3 I presume Wink

Other coders now returning to the fold...again! New modelers coming into the ride design fray. TPB3D hitting almost 150 rides and we are just getting started. The new FRCS has spawned easily multiple arms and cars on an Eli Bridge Scrambler originally modeled by Star_Ranger4 for the community, though it is currently missing the textures. Doc said he has the textures working, but was nailing the raw mechanics down first and by the way it is on a working landscape of sorts. AlabamaCajun another coder may be bringing the coaster tracked rides already working I hear into the fold. If this is the case it appears to be, that means that TPB3D on a simple working landscape would have all flatrides and tracked rides too. That is 150 plus rides out of the gate. The Building Generator is a late 2010 or 2011 project part we will see later.
