A CTR as described by invada is a Custom (meaning made by the community) Tracked (meaning rolls on a track) Ride (meaning it is a ride, obviously). They are basically different types of cars for rollercoasters or other "tracked rides" that didn't come with the game. There are a whole lot, by the way. There is also custom scenery, scenery made by the community, and custom flat rides, which are thrill rides and gentle rides that are also custom or made by the community. And CT's are custom tracks, which are just track pieces that didn't come with the game and make your ride look smoother. All four of these things dramatically enhance the realism of the game.
