How to Install Custom Scenery/Plants etc on RCT3 Platinum for MAC - Zarian - Aug 2, 2013

Hi, I'm having difficulty finding where to place the installed files. I downloaded RCT3 Platinum powered by Steam on MAC and there is no Style/Themed folder like there is on the regular RCT3. Please help!

Hi, I'm a fellow mac user too, and it took me a while to find the folder having changed over from PC gaming.

Basically, if you open finder and go to applications, you will see the RCT3 Platinum logo. Right click it and click show package contents. Then, you want to click on "Contents", then "GameData", then scroll down and click on "Style", then "Themed" and there you are Smile Be sure to remove any extra files on your CC to avoid the dreaded "no :svd for :sid" error!

What "extra files" do you remove?

"extra files" means no "folder in folder" and/or readme's and other files that should be not be in the Folder.
If you are open your CSO-Folder, only the "ovl"-Files (two) should be in and the Folder that includes the cso.

And i think it doesn't matter which system you use (mac or pc), the folder structure for both is the same, so the Screen from Cheleste should be an help.
Because it shows you, what files only be in your CSO-Folder.
I downloaded "Jcat's Pumper Steelworx" and tested it out myself, exactly the way that Cheleste wrotes in the other thread and it works fine in my RCT3.

Soo long, Cobra Cool

btw, before you post -> look at the date from the last posts, i think Jinoc can't be answer your question Wink

I did everything you described, however, these: http://velvetskyemusic.com/RCT3_files/cso.html Don't work for me. I want the three stone creations ones, the trees mega pack, the deep caverns, the ice caverns, and the canyon craze, but none of those work.
