I've searched over the internet for HOURS trying to understand the underground concept in RCT3. Everyone keeps saying to hold shift when the track turns red, but alas, nothing happens. They same the same concept applies to walls/roofs, which it does for me, but for roller coasters/paths, it does nothing. Anyone know if that is the right method, or if I'm doing it wrong?

See this tutorial - it has screenshots, which is much more helpful than trying to explain it with just words.
