A new game is one that was just shipped out of the company. A used game has been used by some one some where, and it probably has some scratches on it.

Thats the difference.

RE: WHATS THE DIFFRANCE - DUDEGETREAL - Dec 13, 2009

NO I CHECKED THE DISC NO SCRATCHES?
BUT THE FIRST THING PROBALY TRUE....

RE: WHATS THE DIFFRANCE - MrMunroe - Dec 14, 2009

A new game is a game at a store that hasn't been previously owned. A used game is a game that was owned by someone else, then sold or traded to the store. Used games are usually cheaper, but may also have scratches.

There might even be some extra saved data...

RE: WHATS THE DIFFRANCE - Fireball - Dec 19, 2009

That can't happen because it would have to be saved onto a MemoryCard then. If the game gets on a system that it has not put data of the game in, it would have no "Saved" data from the previous owner.

Yeah! Because SOME games cannot erase data.

Well, that IS true, but I don't have any games that keep saved data on the disc.

When I was like 9, I bought a used game. It had saved data 100%! LOL
