Fire Storm - Crzynss - Feb 3, 2014 There's a storm that the weatherman couldn't predict... The fire burns out of control as it engulfs the entire northwestern coastline... Sorry but there are a lot of pictures as this is a couple of updates on this project all crammed into this one thread here :P What do you think? Comments/questions/suggestions/critiques? RE: Fire Storm - Cheleste - Feb 3, 2014 First Looking, WOW! And i'm not say this often for RCT-3 Creations. Second Looking on the details in and around, WOW again. So more detail words to this: Layout: could be fun, i would ride it Colouring: Fire Storm so well, you have only three colours for this. But i've seen only two of them, i missed orange. Dont get me wrong, it looks really nice, but i think it could be looking a little bit better if you used orange for Rail or supports. But this is crique of high niveau . Theming: Amazing work, we've water there in form of ponds, thats importent because we're on fire right?! Then we've some pathing around, trees/bushes (basics) but then there's a Ying/Yang sign, a really cool idea and looks pretty nice. The Fences have colours of the track and you build a little "Sculpture" on the plaza, looks nice too. Station Building looks fine, not something special, but it fits. I changed the Roof-Colour to grey or black with red/yellow/orange details on it, but your design fits too. All in all a Grand Coaster of high niveau build skills, i think Silverret becomes an oponent in future "Build-It" Challenges Lg Cheleste RE: Fire Storm - nineflagsinc - Feb 3, 2014 Wow :O look so real.. Keep up the good work.. RE: Fire Storm - DorneyPark5 - Feb 3, 2014 awesome, I always enjoy seeing coasters up at my level for rct3 RE: Fire Storm - Crzynss - Feb 3, 2014 (Feb 3, 2014, 03:48 AM)Cheleste Wrote: First Looking, WOW! Yeah I thought long and hard about that at first, using orange or not, but ended up staying away from it [minus trying it out on the trains, didn't like it...] But I have yet to apply it to the track or the supports [maybe now I can at least take a look and see what it looks like] But the logo was made for the 4 main colors of the ride: Red, Yellow, Carbon Grey & White, so that was what I stuck with for the ride itself. Wouldn't hurt to check it out I am known for my "path art work" on Shyguysworld and RCTLounge, maybe that will catch on here :P I did model this station after a real life one I saw [Now come to think of it I cant even recall what ride that was ] Just straight and simple, yet unique in design, art, aesthetics but I do need to expand my horizons with my stations, lately I have been stuck in this rut of making them all the same way, or way too similar :/ The grey/black roof was the first I tried, but it didn't "pop" like the red did [it contrasts with the green, brown and white all around the ride with the subtle yellow accents [not to mention yellow flames] I don't know if he knows it, but Silverret was one of the people who's projects I studied in great detail for hours trying to see how and why he did what he did Hope you like the vid release soon!
