Cabracán - B&M Terrain-Floorless UCC (RCT1 & RCT3) - Cheleste - Feb 20, 2014

Hello,

as you can see from my signature i am working on "Cabracán" and goes to "build-it" Tongue

It doesnt matter who wins against me, my reason why i entering the first time this competition are that most RCT-3 Creation are in, with all there CSO's/CTR's. And i thought it would be a nice idea to show people whats possible with NCSO's Wink.
I know my chances for an win are not high, but thats ok, importent for me is/was to have FUN and not if i win or not.

The project is finshed, maybe 75%, i'm not sure that i entering round 158, round 159 is much more possible at the moment. Because the whole terraforming/landscaping takes alot of work/rework to look good, but good is not enough for me Tongue.

The Track-Layout is finished and so i thought i want to show it to you.
Be in mind, that this would be an Terrain-Coaster, like Nemesis @ Alton Towers or Black Mamba @ Phantasialand, so that the track high is wrong.
If i made a screen with all scenary you see maybe 10% from the Track Biggrin and the other thing is that my Theming are an suprise, but it is Maya/Aztecs Style.

The name "Cabracán" is called after an Maya-God, its an "Earthquake Demon" a Mountain Destroyer.

The tried to keep the layout realistic, like other B&M's, so its not a suprise that the first inversions typical B&M Style, only smaller. For an Terraincoaster it fits better without big loops/halfloops.

I've created an custom/unique Inversion, first it was an "Cobra-Roll" it works, but that was not that what i want, because i want have an UCC "Unique-Cheleste-Coaster" and not an typical B&M model.
The new Inversion is called the "Earthquake-Turn", i think it sounds really good.
Maybe its easier when you know that there is placed an destroyed building around it so thats why the name comes from Wink

Okay, enough text for now:

Layout:

Close-Up Station & Transfer-Tracks:

Next time i show you an preview from the landscape/terraforming work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update-1:

I've decided that i made an RCT-3 Version, too Wink
Because some of you think maybe i can only criticize other Creations and i can't create Coasters with RCT3 by myself.
The RCT-3 Version was a little bit different, because i'm using an CTR with much more Special Track Pieces. So the Ridefeeling is much smoother than my RCT-1 Version.
First pics about the RCT-3 Layout are up the next few days Smile

Lg Cheleste, i see you in build-it :*

Update 2:
-----------
After an long time, the Layout from the RCT-3 Version of "Cabracán" are finished and the basic terraforming is finished, too.

Land-Overview:

as you can see i've made a huge park with hills/rivers/waterfalls to create an "deep jungle effect" and i hope with alot of nice vegetation this could be a nice place for "Cabracán" Wink

Layout:

finally the RCT-3 Layout is finished, i often changed it, because after pre-building some buildings i had problems with some parts of the track. After changing sometimes i changed it back Biggrin.
But everthing comes to an "End", and well the Layout is finished.
It has most of the RCT-1 charme (i hope) and the most importent parts from the RCT-1 Version.

Next pics are coming soon, that shows some Maya-Buildings so you can have a better vision how it could be in the end. A pic with custom supports is coming, too Wink

It's my first RCT-3 Project with CSO/CTR stuff, but don't be shy!
Sometimes my cricism is pretty rough against other ones Creations, so if you find something that i can do better or different, just tell me.
I 've got no problem with constuctive criticsm, other suggestsions are welcome, too Tongue

Off-Topic:
------------
Has anyone the "Mayan Temple Set" by azanderz?
All links to download pages are broken down! Any helps/tips are welcome, thanks.

Update 2.5:
-------------

Temple Entrance & Loop:

This little preview shows the first Inversion of Cabracán that goes through the Entrance Stairs of the Mayan Temple.
The Centerpart and the core was made of "granite" and goes through the loop, too.
Because the granite was there before the Coaster was build, so the backstory.
It was a huge rock and the Mayan culture dont destroy natural things, so they build there Temple Entrance in/on the granite rock.
The stairs on both sides going behind the loop and than you come to the Mechanic-Area, were the Transfer-Tracks are there. This Area is inside the Temple and a little bit below the Station.
Guests cant get there, as you can see in front of the stairs with the ropes.
The Holes on the little stairs are covered with jungle vegetation: tree roots, creeper and lianas make this a little bit more natural.

On the right you also can see the Zero-G-Roll, later the Q is going below the Zero-G and turns right into an Building.

Mayan Pyramid:

This Pics shows an medium sized Pyramid, build in Mayan-Style.
The Pyramid is part for the experience after the Breaksection. The Train crosses it twice.
First the Train goes inside the Entrance, later the Entrance should be look "washed out" while the leftsided River are near the Pyramid.
The Photo-Section would be coverd in the future with some jungle vegetation Wink.
The Train comes out on the top, were the sacrificial altar is.
Than the guests running down on the backside of the Pyramid, turns left into the Overbanked-Turn.
At the end of the Overbanked Turn the train runs the second time into the Pyramid, makes a little bunny-hop and comes out on the opposit side.
After this the right-curve is really close to the stairs on the Pyramid side, but dont worry, only a headchopper.

In the nightime all Buildings and the Temple Complex are shining in an warm atmosphere of the fire from the torches, but nightshots coming in the end.

Side-Notes:
-------------
- forgive me that some supports haven't any footers, but for the Preview pics i build it on flatland Tongue

- Buildings that are included in the end:
Mayan Temple Complex (Station & Transfer-Track, some Lifthill parts)
Temple-Entrance (Looping)
Observatory (Earthquake-Turn)
Mid-Size Pyramid (Photo-Section & 2. Overbanked-Turn)
Mayan Temple del Sol (maybe for an Shop/Stall)
a few crushed wall-Sections (both Corkscrews & 1. Overbanked-Turn)
Souvenir-Shop (beside the Observatory)

http://forums.rctgo.com/thread-18151-post-105860.html#pid105860

i decided to make an Logo for "Cabracán", too Tongue

Nothing Special, but i think it looks good enough for "Mayan"-Style Smile
