saving a terrain paint? - SUPER MOOSE93 - Mar 6, 2014 is there a way to save a terrain paint? i have a huge area that needs painting but doing the whole thing 1 square at a time is slow and a pain in the lime. would be much faster if i could just save the pattern then just spread it all over RE: saving a terrain paint? - rccoa coasters - Mar 6, 2014 Not really. But why are you only doing it one square at a time? RE: saving a terrain paint? - Cheleste - Mar 6, 2014 Nope there is no way to safe the terrain painting, sry! @rccoa coasters: maybe he uses "Silvarret's" method to getting an individual terrain look. And well, a Chessboard takes a while on a huge area, but the result could be better than the normal method Lg Cheleste RE: saving a terrain paint? - SUPER MOOSE93 - Mar 6, 2014 avocado. guess the good stuff takes the most time to build. yeah, i am making a dark grass mix for the forest floor RE: saving a terrain paint? - IntaminAndrew - Mar 6, 2014 If you want it to be perfect, then yes it does. RE: saving a terrain paint? - FlightToAtlantis - Mar 7, 2014 There is one way to save it: Do your terrain paint in a new empty park that’s 254x254. Then save aside your terrain painted park so it’s ready to use. Copy your saved aside terrain painted park and build in the copy. This way you have a terrain painted park you are using, and another saved aside fresh and ready for another project. I recommend 254x254 because, if, for example, you terrain paint a 128x128 park and decide later for a new project that you would like to have a 200x200 park that’s terrain painted, then with a 254x254 park already terrain painted you would only need to reduce the size of your 254x254 park in scenario editor. It would be difficult to start out with a 128x128 painted park and then decide you want it bigger for another park later on. Apart from this way, like Cheleste says, there is no way to save a terrain painting to place in another park. And like SuperMoose and IntaminAndrew say, the best results in RCT3 take time! |
