RCT3 does not start up! - Nahbenhaben - Mar 19, 2014 When I click on it for a slit second I get the loading cursor but then is disappears and nothing happens. When I go into task manager it does not show rct3plus is running. This still happens when I run it as an administrator or use 7/vista/XP/windows 2000/me/95/98 service packs. I've also deactivated my anti-virus and nothing still happens. I've also cleaned the disk and put it back in. Nothing happens. I also have the latest patch. Specs: Hard Drive: 584 GB, 438 left. Ram: 4GB DDR2 Processor: AMD, 1.6 Ghz Type:64-bit OS: Windows 7 Home premium Other information you may or may not need:I do have CS, but I didn't install any more before this happened. I have ran the game and it ran fine before. Just a little lag. All the CS worked. I also have tried having all background programs closed, nothing changed. Please help I feel like im going to explode! ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance. RE: RCT3 does not start up! - Ardy - Mar 20, 2014 What is RCT3Plus??? RE: RCT3 does not start up! - FlightToAtlantis - Mar 20, 2014 If my memory serves me correctly, RCT3plus is the name of the .exe file for RCT3 Platinum. If the process is making an effort then doesn’t even show up in the process queue it looks like you need to specifically set up DEP so RCT3plus can run on your system. Take a look at this post for instructions: http://forums.rctgo.com/thread-13461-post-97587.html#pid97587 The instructions were written for XP. Should you have trouble following them, click Start, open Help and Support and do a search for Data Execution Prevention. You can open DEP from there. Also, instead of your browsing to RCT3.exe and selecting that you’ll browse to RCT3plus.exe and select that. RE: RCT3 does not start up! - TC8950 - Mar 21, 2014 I had this problem to a while back. Go to C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Atari\RCT3 and delete Options.txt |
