Help for cd/dvd rom, also mac version of RCT3 importing custom scenery without crash - sommerman1 - Mar 29, 2014

I have watched about 10 videos on youtube on how to do this. Custom scenery has eluded me since the day I bought the game. I understand HOW to download custom scenery. There are several websites. The problem I am having is how to NOT crash the game and get the dreaded "No :svd for :sid" error Keep in mind I have a mac computer and laptop. I have the disk version of it. It seems impossible for me to be the only now with this problem.

if you follow the instructions on how to install it, you shouldnt get the error unless its a faulty download.

I still got the error and it crashed. The custom scenery is on the game and so are the thumbnails for it. When I hover the mouse over it, the game crashes and I have to start all over. I just redownloaded the game form the disk so right now I have a cleanslate so your wish is my command on how to fix this problem.

You could just get a pc! More games, more features for less money (CD Drives, cables that don't fall apart easily, more games),

If you could pick me out a relatively good pc that is as close to $250 than i would look into it! (just post the link) but first I'd like to figure this problem out

So am I the only person with this problem? Custom scenery crashes my game, gives me the error, and I can't do anything about it?

Toshibas have always been great, you can take a look at Best Buy, they have some pretty good deals.
