Help, please! - Slurpee_Man - Apr 22, 2014 Guys, 1. I'm in a slump. Other than Geranium I can't get a good coaster done. Any suggestions? 2. My sister has a fear of heights which means she is scared of coasters (Although she DID ride a few) and she also has tummy trouble. (Like the twisted knot you get when queuing.) Please help her out, I'm sure she'd love it! - Slurpee_Man RE: Help, please! - SFFTman - Apr 22, 2014 1. I'm taking a little break from building coasters and working on buildings, parks and stuff maybe you should take a break from coasters and do some thing different on rct3. Or just make a stupid coaster with scenery that is just totaly messed up and maybe it will help you bring out your creativity. 2. And for your sister maybe she should start small and work her way up, that is what I did and now I don't get scared on coasters anymore. And maybe she should drink water while in the queue. Hope this helps. RE: Help, please! - Slurpee_Man - Apr 22, 2014 Thanks for the tips SFFTman! RE: Help, please! - FlightToAtlantis - Apr 23, 2014 Sometimes we can get so close to a project we’re trying to crack that we can’t see the forest for the trees. Like SFFTman says, to get over this it’s time to be diverted! In addition to his excellent advice I’d recommend you try a variety of other things. Perhaps you might open a new sandbox and experiment with vegetation placement. You can mess around with landscaping in a new flat park, then try and see where you can or can’t put enclosures or a pool. Or put an animal outside its enclosure and see if you can figure out how to use the dart gun – then try it with six escaped animals. Or experiment with the dune buggy. Or with the LOD settings. Or create a mix master display in a new sandbox. Or water jet effects. Or a dolphin or tiger show. Experiment with tunnels and with placing scenery underground. Or maybe you can scroll through your entire list of CS and familiarize yourself with stuff you’ve forgotten. Randomly place stuff from various sets. It’s amazing how many things get forgotten and how many times this has given me an idea. Do a few of these things and, I agree, you’ll soon find yourself thinking differently about your coaster. |
