Question: Roller Coaster Supports - Wooden and the others... - aecrouch2016 - Jun 8, 2014 What makes the supports in RCT3 unrealistic? If they were then why did they use them if people were going replace them? For those of you who do take the time to change the supports, that's a lot of detail and time and effort...unless there is a secret you know that I don't. If there is, please share it with me. Thanks in advance. RE: Question: Roller Coaster Supports - Wooden and the others... - Slurpee_Man - Jun 8, 2014 Atari is a junk company. The support essentials all come in custom scenery sets! You'll need: Steel- Ody's coaster goodies v1.1, Moby's steel jungle v1 and v2, and CPcisco's B&M Footers. Wooden- BigBurger's Timber 2.0, & LoneWolf's Round Footers Hope this helps. -Slurpee_Man RE: Question: Roller Coaster Supports - Wooden and the others... - nathan8848 - Jun 8, 2014 (Jun 8, 2014, 08:09 AM)Slurpee_Man Wrote: Atari is a junk company. I've searched and watched a few on youtube, but didn't help me much. (my future are going to use those instead of JCAT's) RE: Question: Roller Coaster Supports - Wooden and the others... - Frankedj - Jun 8, 2014 (Jun 8, 2014, 11:52 AM)nathan8848 Wrote: For Moby's Steel Jungle, where are the footers? I see connecters but not footers. Are they in a different set? Footers do not come in Steel Jungle. Chromin makes a nice set of colorable round concrete footers. Building custom steel supports takes lots of time and lots of practice when you don't use pre-made drag up from the ground supports. Building wooden supports takes even longer. Moby also has a wood set. I see connecters but not footers. Are they in a different set? I downloaded the supports you all recommended. I tried to replace some of the wooden supports just on the start of the coaster where the station goes. It is a lot of work, but I can tell the results are much better then the ones used in the game. I really don't know if I did it right or not. I'll post to get your thoughts on it another time. Need to watch a few tutorials first. RE: Question: Roller Coaster Supports - Wooden and the others... - TheFireKing - Jul 31, 2014 If You want to make a B&M coaster, CPisco makes some awesome and realistic B&M footers. He also makes a support set that is an extension, more or less, of Steel Jungle (Steel Chaos). It includes all the heights, 1- 12, that Moby left out, all of the corresponding flanges, more verticle pieces, and more horizontal pieces. I was not aware of the extension set of Steel Jungle (thanks). So I will take a look at it. I've been practicing again, but not ready to post anything again yet. At least until I get something I really like again. Feeback is always welcome. (for roller coasters) RE: Question: Roller Coaster Supports - Wooden and the others... - Blu - Jul 31, 2014 The footer sets don't necessarily match up with the support sets, but more the type of ride you are using. |
