Hello! I am very new to these forums but i have played the game for about a month and i really have the hang of it! But i seem to be having one problem. Whenever i download a park file (.dat), RCT 3 Recognizes the file, but when i open the park, there is nothing in the world at all. Just blank. And it is the same blank world for every park i download. I am also not able to fully use all of my custom scenery. For example, ATH Catwalk set does not show up in the game at all, and sometimes crashes the game. I am very tech savvy, so i know how to do a lot of things with computers/ rewrite code if needed

I am still fairly new at the game to. This is what I've tried when I had similar situations as you. When you have the park file make sure you go to your documents folder, rct, and parks. I found out (many times) you have to download the custom scenery and install it. I've attached the steps I've used that seem to work for me at this time. However, on occasion, I still experienced some problems especially with certain structures. Hope that helps a little. Someone else might have another suggestion.
In my experience with downloading files, unzipping them. A lot of the time they have other things you may not want. You may have already done this, but in many of my parks and structures...I include the readme file, maybe some screenshots and the file. I've learned the hard way if you don't take those out it can cause problems. Just another thought to add. If you have any situations with my downloads...parks, structures, coasters you can always pm me. And I'll try to see what is going on to help.
