Adding Custom Buildings to RCT3 Platinum Steam - jfremm - Jul 20, 2014

I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to import custom buildings (.dat files) into RCT3 Platinum. I downloaded it off of Steam and know how to do Custom Scenery, but cannot find an area to insert Custom Buildings. Please Help!

Try putting the .dat file into your documents folder, not the program file example...
Documents/RCT Platinum/Structures.
Sometimes the custom buildings require other cs to use. Most provide the links or
make a list of the custom scenery you would need to use.
I hope that makes sense and is helpful.

There doesn't seem to be a RCT3 folder in my Documents folder . Should I make one?

I'm not sure about making a new folder. I am running on Windows 8.1 and it seems like they have 2 desk top places. I'm going to upload a screenshot that shows what I mean. If you are running on a Mac I'm not sure how to help. Otherwise I hope the information I gave to does help you.Smile
