[WIP] Silvarret's Alpine Stuff - Silvarret - Aug 2, 2014

I'm on vacation in the Alps, so I'm making some alpine sets when we're not out doing stuff. Currently working on some Doppelmayr gondola/chairlift cs to make rideable skilifts with.

Thanks guys! Well, here is more Wink

I have added catwalks, supports, footers, flanges and a straight piece, along with carrier/topper variations.

This is what a general lift will look like:

The wheels transition seamlessly, so you can add supports right next to each other.

This is the straight piece, with a ladder and catwalks for maintenance. And a flange, but the render distance for those things is minimal as with MSJ flanges :/

Mazzer's CTR's fit onto the cable perfectly ;D

All the pieces I currently have (as you can see, it exists of pretty big pieces, but still allows for some customization, f.e. you can use other sets for supports or use custom catwalks)

And last, but not least, the CS next to the in-game chairlift.
[Image: 9bxEq9k.jpg]

You can see it looks very wide - and yes, the CS is 3 tiles wide, with a 2 tile distance between the cables, which is actually what real Doppelmayr's do too, as you can see.

Feedback is appreciated as always. Smile

Looks great. Very detailed.

RE: [WIP] Silvarret's Alpine Stuff - Cheleste - Aug 3, 2014

Ingame Chairlift -> crap
Silvarrets Doppelmairlift -> super Smile

The only good thing from the ingame chairlift are the steel-structure, because we know this from CSO-Sets Wink

As Niesch wrote, looks great so far.

This is incredible! I watch many of your tutorials Smile . You have a great talent.

RE: [WIP] Silvarret's Alpine Stuff - Silvarret - Aug 6, 2014

Thanks guys!

This isn't really a major update, but just showing some new pieces. I've made top wheels for straight pieces, might do gentle ones too, added some slanted support beams, and started work on the station.

Here you can see the new support piece, and the top wheels on the straight carrier in the middle.

Coming out of the station!
