RCT1 CD issue - woodboy15 - Aug 15, 2014
So i actually have a CD of the original Roller Coaster Tycoon and at first i thought it wouldn't work cause its old but i managed to get the setup working but when i click on the application this error message pops up(Capture.PNG). I am running on windows 8.1 so that might have something to do with it. And I have tried changing the compatibility settings in the properties. Thanks for any help.

im guessing it cant run on windows 8 given the age of the game. try XP or vista, maybe even windows 7
