Hi I am a New Member and looking for a little help - amazingdoggy - Oct 4, 2014 Hi Guys, I was hoping someone could guide me in the right direction. I have been learing all about RCT3 for the past 6 months or so ..and loving it. I just would like to add some features to my creations...such as fancy brakes and crazy steelworks. I see some creations out there with really cool brakes systems and and hoping I could use them in my constructions. Thank you everybody and enjoy the theme parks. The Amazing Doggy RE: Hi I am a New Member and looking for a little help - Portem!ne - Oct 4, 2014 Hello amazingdoggy and welcome to RCTgo I'm glad that you love playing RCT3. For some realistic brakes I recommend you Techno_Dude's set which is available here : http://www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1911 Cheers, Portem!ne RE: Hi I am a New Member and looking for a little help - aecrouch2016 - Oct 4, 2014 (Oct 4, 2014, 06:27 PM)amazingdoggy Wrote: Hi Guys, Hi, - I am not an expert at this, but just providing based on the information you gave I have some links you might want to look into. I was just wondering also if you knew how to access these files once I have downloaded them. The do not appear in my custom structure folder and I was hoping they would automatically go into my RCT3 game. Do I need to download some special software. Thank you so much for your help. I use Peazip to extract the files http://peazip.sourceforge.net/ Make sure to click on the Peazip option not sourceforge (by the way it's free) Once you have extracted the files and you see the (for example) the structure file .dat you would need to place it in Documents/RCT3/Structures. If you have a Mac, I am not sure how you would do this. If you are talking about custom scenery objects: Go to your hard drive (mine is C, program files (x86) Atari, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum, style and then the themed folder. You would put the custom scenery objects in the themed folder. Once you are in the game lets just say sandbox - go to scenery then structures (looks like a little house just showing the frame). When you click on that you should see a yellow folder. Your structure file should be in there. If you are talking about installing custom flat rides. You would need to Make a Custom Folder in your Style folder. Then you would put the Custom Flat rides here. I hope the screenshot I provided makes a little more sense then the working I did. aecrouch7413 RE: Hi I am a New Member and looking for a little help - Huggy Bear - Oct 20, 2014 Welcome to the site I think will like it here. |
