RCT2 Hill Trick - naveisawesome - Dec 31, 2014
Hi everyone,
I know that maiking smooth hills in RCT2 can really be a pain, as you have to move it one square at a time
I know that in RCT1, you can repetitively press the minus button on the land formation tool and you can create hills very simply, and I have also found this feature in the scenario editor in RCT2
However, it doesn't seem to be in game in RCT2, yet I've seen some youtubers use it, yet I don't know how
Anyone know how they do it?

Open the Options menu in game. Go down to Display and make sure there's a check mark in the box for Landscape Smoothing.

The landscape smoothing option I tried, and realized that it basically gets rid of the grid lines in elevated to flat land, doesn't create hills
Does anyone know where I could find those mods though?

I know what you're talking about now. You could do that in RCT1 but it looks like you can't in RCT2, at least not in game, though you can in the editor.
I'm not aware of any mods that let you do it. I'm sure someone else will be able to help with that though.

If you try unchecking that box, you'll see what I mean, I'm looking for a tool to make the hills be automatically created as you rise the land

I'm not aware of any tool that would give you that option like with RCT1 and the RCT2 landscape editor.

I watched that video and even slowed it way down and I still can't figure out how he did it.
