Build It Question - Can you enter a water ride or some other kind of ride? - aecrouch2016 - Feb 21, 2015

Does the entry for a build it competition have to be a roller coaster? Can it be a water ride or some other kind of ride as long as you build it yourself?
I think the answer is yes, but just was wondering and wanted to be sure. Thanks.

there has been water slide in it before, it didnt really get anywhere but it got in. there is nothing in the rules saying it has to be a rollercoaster that is entered

In Round 113, people thought it was against the rules to submit a RCT2 track just because nobody had done it before, and then that coaster gave RCT2 its first, and probably only ever, Build It win. Now people enter RCT2 tracks all the time. They just don't get extraordinary amounts of votes.

There isn't anything in the rules that says your entry has to be a roller coaster, and even if it did, if you're playing RCT3, it's not even an issue. Log Flumes, Splash Boats, River Rapids, and all related rides are under the roller coaster menu.
