RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - Maverick360 - Mar 16, 2015

Man, I really can't tell if I'm going to win!

RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - aecrouch2016 - Mar 16, 2015

Voted for Flash Hazard by Terry Inferno
The video was great and the detail you did was amazing for RCT2. Smile
A different style then RCT3 and NoLimits1/2 but I like it.

RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - Chimalion - Mar 16, 2015

I must say, this round was not as impressive as I thought it was. I'm sorry if that comment offended you.

Humongous by MrNozem77 - I must say this ride is blowing me away! MrNozem77 is one of the best builders on this site to date in my opinion! I like the supports and indoor theming! There was only one flaw with this ride. The supports on the rocks that I saw in the video weren't "footered (If this is a word Wink)", nor where any of the other supports! But besides that, the theming was phenomenal! I pissed my pants after seeing this....

Spirit by Maverick360 - I always enjoy seeing NoLimits 2 coasters in Build-It! They are realistic, great, and the game is the best thing since the Nintendo Wii! However, I learned this the hard way, you could use some more scenery other than trees. But I love the layout and supports! Keep trying and good luck in the future! Wink

Lojiki by Slurpee_Man - I'm sorry, but this needs some ground shrubbery, B&M Support Connectors, and a queue line. I also saw in screenshots that a couple of footers weren't on the supports. The supports need flanges, and the station was small. I didn't like the variety of trees, and the terra-painting could have been done better, check out some of Silvarret's tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXNL6nw2e9I Without sounding too harsh, this ride could use some work.

Flash Hazard by Terry Inferno - This ride had a funny name, yet it fit very well with the theme and the coaster! It had a nice, smooth long layout, and the surroundings are very well for RollerCoaster Tycoon 2! Not much else to say besides that it looks really good, and it's just what we'd expect from someone like Terry! Smile

In the end, I'm tied between Flash Hazard and Humongous. I'll check up with you guys later Cool

RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - Maverick360 - Mar 16, 2015

Oh yeah, before I forget, the name of my coaster was not taken from Simplefate, I came up with it myself.

RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - MrNozem77 - Mar 16, 2015

Thanks a lot, Josh and nice review as well! However, I didn't forget the footers. They are just not visible. I placed them first and added the rocks later. Wink Maybe not the smartest decision ever. Tongue

Review coming soon Smile

RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - naveisawesome - Mar 16, 2015

So Mr Nozem 77, great jobb with that you really know how to make indoor scenery, well done
Both Spirit and Lokiji I like, but I feel like not much variety of scenery was used
In the end my vote goes to Flash Hazard, Terry really knows how to make an awesome coaster, great theming, love the supports, and a cool track layout too (an RCT2 entry needs to win every once in a while)

RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - SimpleFate - Mar 16, 2015

My vote for this round is currently Humongous for its fluent scenery. Although it had a few jerky sections, this was overall my favorite build of this round. All contestants did a great job. Please find my review down below. It is all my opinion and I have also taken them into a realistic aspect. Good round guys!

Humongous - 6.5/10

----LAYOUT: The layout was good but had a few jerky turns at some speeds that would knock the car off the rail. I'd be quite scared to ride this layout honestly. Had a few good aspects to it such as the over-banked turn but the ride was too extreme for something mainly for kids. I understand you were trying to get people to "relive" their childhood but this attraction doesn't satisfy me, even if I did play the games when I was a kid.

----SCENERY: The scenery was amazing....but like I said, it doesn't compliment the ride at all. Make sure the theme compliments how the ride feels and how extreme the ride is. I liked the indoor feature and would love to see more of these in future build-it's.

----SUPPORTS: Need to work on your support connectors when lining up with the track. I myself had issues with this sort of track but used flanges as sort of a base on the track and it looked professionally built. I noticed a ton of supports popping into the track itself.

----OTHER: I just want to say that this is your best work, even if you have a ton of room for improvement. I give this ride a rating of 6.5/10 (going to start rating tracks). Great job.

Spirit - 6/10

----LAYOUT: I didn't actually get to see the full layout but from what I can read from the description, it sounds pretty entertaining. Is there a video I can watch for a better view? I loved the colors you chose for the track. Fits well with the area you are in but wish I could see more scenery other than water and grass. My only issue with the layout is the underground concrete tunnels poorly going into the water and out the other end of the pond.

----SCENERY: The trees were great in my book. Placed them quite well.

----SUPPORTS: Supports went well with the manufacturer you chose but need to make sure your footers are just a bit taller than the water level instead of barely touching.

----OTHER: I liked this build but is too plain and an overrated style of a coaster. I rate this coaster 6/10.

Lokiji - 4/10

----LAYOUT: From what little I can see, I can't really judge on the layout sadly. Looks good but I can't see much. Maybe post a video up or post more pictures but I can't do much here.

----SCENERY: Make sure to make your station more realistic. It's very small and looks to be designed for a children's coaster.

----SUPPORTS: The supports were good and I had no issue except for the footers. Make sure you work a bit more on realistic supporting and footing.

----OTHER: I liked the pictures but like I said, I can't see much of the ride. Didn't stand out for me like Spirit and Humongous do. I rate this ride a 4/10. Good build but needs work and more pictures.

Flash Hazard - 5/10

----LAYOUT: I like the layout and can see the entire thing. Looks to be okay in a realistic aspect as far as RCT goes.

----SCENERY: Scenery was what this track was lacking. Yes you had a good amount of trees but not much else.

----SUPPORTS: I had an issue with the supports on this build compared to the others. Make sure to support your helix's more and to not use too much of the beams, especially at odd places.

----OTHER: Not much to say to this coaster as I haven't played RCT2 in years and am not really a fan of it either but it did catch my attention a bit. I rate this build a 5/10. Good luck in your next build.

RE: Vote for your favorite track! Round 195 - ian44accordx - Mar 16, 2015

I really like Spirit. Its layout looks very good. Its a tough challenge creating scenery in Nolimits 2, its not as easy as RCT Series.
