New PC - Need help with CS - NJS1968 - Nov 15, 2015 Hi. I've just bought a new PC (much improved performance!! ) and have installed RCT3. I had the game (is it a game, or an experience??) on my laptop, together with all the CS that I've downloaded. My question - is there a quick stress free way of ensuring that everything I have downloaded onto my laptop is transferred to the PC? Thanks in advance. Nick RE: New PC - Need help with CS - ChrisMDB - Nov 15, 2015 If you copy your files onto a USB and then save them over your RCT3 files on your new computer it will place everything where it needs to go automatically (I suggest grabbing the entire folder). I'd have to say it's an experience after +15 years of RCT, games become boring and dull over time, experiences are eternal. RE: New PC - Need help with CS - aecrouch2016 - Nov 15, 2015 What kind of laptop to you have? I would save your documents folder as well on the flash drive. If you have any made parks, coasters, structures etc. I would recommend you do this. If you only copy the Atari folder, you will loose your projects. In addition, if you have any particle affects (laser, water jets, etc), you may want to check to see if everything installed correctly. I have my purchased copy of RCT3 Platinum on my flash drive. After my old laptop had problems, I purchased a new one. RCT3 works fine on 8.1, just make sure you check compatibility. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions or post again. RE: New PC - Need help with CS - NJS1968 - Nov 19, 2015 Thanks guys - useful guidance. Deffo agree that RCT is an experience and not a game. Yes sometimes I go for weeks without 'playing' it, then once I do go on it again, it's very addictive |
