Rollercoaster Tycoon coming to the consoles? - CrAzEd - Jul 11, 2005
hey guys, i've just registered today after a long time considering it and now getting tired of wondering about a question i have.
i have been a dedicated fan of the 2D versions of rollercoaster Tycoon, i have played and completed all the previous series and i cannot get enough of it.... but now the game has revolved and developed into a 3D version, i don't have the right specifications on my PC to actually consider buying it. i can't really afford to go out and buy a brand new PC just to satisfy my needs.
which is why i have changed over to the Playstation2 and have been using it since. Is it ever possible to bring RCT3 and soaked to the PS2? it will be a great thing for me to happen and i'm sure alot of poeple would agree with me. After all, it will give me the opportunity to explore my number 1 game of all time just a little bit further.

I heard that my friend has downloaded games from all sorts of platforms and he has put them on his PsP and played them 8) But i have heard nothing of a console version atm

Unfortunatly RCT3 will not be coming to console any time soon. If it were to happen, that would mean that it would have to be reprogrammed from the ground up, and many many many changes would have to be made.

i meant to say RCT1 is on XBOX, the graphics are nicer though...

ok, thats a shame really, maybe it will come out when the new PS3 comes out next year?
anyway, for the time being, what is the minimum system requirments that can get the game running on a pc? the most minimum u can without too much lag and graphic compromise?

A super computer, or a super Video card on steroids :lol:

i dont know...
well i'll just lower my specs cause i can run everything on max and get 35 fps
minimum with ok graphics...
pentium 4 wih 3 Ghz
Radeon 9550 with 128 MB
512MB ram
um...yeah, well thats what i think
i have a
intel pentium 4 with 3GHz
Nvivida 6600GT
512MB Ram
its new so it should last for 3 more years

Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX with 256 MB
2GB ram
I just bought the graphics card to replace my Nvidia 5600 FX, I recommend it!
