Recreation Help - evilthecat6600 - Mar 23, 2016

So I've been working on a concept for a park and I'd like to make a recreation of an upcoming roller coaster.  I'll be attaching an image of the coaster but I don't know how to resize it so forgive me if it looks too big.

Anyway, my questions are 1. What's the best type of in-game coaster to use to make this recreation?  2. What are best height levels to keep the car from flying off the track?  (I'm assuming the coaster is completed based off the design concept itself.  I already talked about it on the non-game discussion forms as a roller coaster lover)

And I decided just to post a link to the picture.  I can edit with an insert at the request of users, mods, admins, I just thought the link would be easier.  Any and all help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.  (I'm trying to get back into RCT3 since I stopped due to my computer burning hot all the time)

Oh... the Pulsar coaster... hmm, perhaps the half-pipe coaster type would work if it had custom cars, I doubt they exist though. I honestly don't think it's possible to make in game simply because of how much it'll be slowed by the water. You'd definitely need a CTR to make this though as nothing in the vanilla game can accommodate for what you want.

Are there any recommended CTRs I can download and install?

The Lim Launch will work. Obviously no water effects however.

My original plan was just to use a small square of lowered terrain and fill it with water and place the coaster over it anyway xD I'll try it with the LIM, but I still need to know how to make it do the shuttle thing. I'm assuming Pulsar has a shuttle thing going on.

Only recreation I ever made was RC Racer and that was a simple half-pipe design with a reverse free fall coaster.

The number of circuits allows it to make the full loop. Launch it forwards, then allowing 2+ circuits allows it to go up the back spike and forwards again.

One last question before I start building: How do I get it to stop at the of the front spike and fall backwards to the station without flying off the track?

Either slow it down or raise the tip. Getting it to stop is not possible.

I'll experiment with it. Thanks for the information Smile

Coasters automatically go backwards if they don't have enough speed to keep going forwards. So basically make the first hill high enough to make the train stop and go in reverse. It is actually possible to stop coasters on inclines - more specifically inversions - although it can be tricky to do. If a coaster train enters a loop or corkscrew at a certain speed (not sure exactly what it is) It will come to a full stop in the inversion and be suspended there.
