5 Year Plan Predictions for your home park/any park - Chimalion - Apr 1, 2016
This has been on TPR for a while, I thought we can have it here
You are the president and whatever you present to the CEO of the chain will be approved for your 6 year plan (2015-2020) for your two home parks. I say a 6 year plan instead of 5 cause some parks have pretty solid rumors for this year, so if your park has a solid rumor use that as your 2015 plan. What would you do (make realistic)?
Six Flags Great America:Â
2017: Larson Super Loop in old Ropes Course place by Demon
2018: Premier Skyrocket II in Ragin' Cajun spot
2019: Hurricane Harbor expansion
2020: Big Thrill Ride
2021: Park Improvements, Kiddie Ride Expansion
Cedar Point:
2017: A Triotech Dark Ride, we are probably going to see these at most Cedar Fair parks anyway, but with Cedar Point being the 'Best Amusement Park in the World' and after Valravn it will probably happen.
2018: Family/Thrill Rides, their last one was Windseeker in 2011, maybe like an Air Race.
2019: Remove Mean Streak. Soak City expansion
2020: 150th Anniversary, RMC Mean Streak
2021: Remove Dinosaurs Alive
Holiday World:
2017: Splashin' Safari Expansion
2018: New Shows and Barrel Roll on Voyage with new Timberliner trains
2019: B&M coaster
2020: Mack Splash Battle
2021: Family Coaster
Kings Island:
2017: Triotech Dark Ride
2018: B&M Giga, 3rd in the Cedar Fair chain
2019: Family Rides, Park Improvement

Martin's Fantasy Island (Grand Island, New York)
2016 - Keep up with ride maintenance and mow the grass.
2017 - Keep up with ride maintenance and mow the grass.
2018 - Maybe add a new flat ride.
2019 - Maybe add a new restaurant.
2020 - Keep up with ride maintenance and mow the grass.
Darien Lake Theme Park and Resort (Darien, New York)
2016 - Maybe squeeze a new flat ride in, have an awesome concert lineup, try to convince nearby farmers to sell their land.
2017 - Maybe add a new restaurant from Buffalo or Rochester, try to convince nearby farmers to sell their land.
2018 - Maybe add a new gimmicky water ride, demolish the rest of the Barracuda Bay water slides, try to convince nearby farmers to sell their land.
2019 - Mow the grass, find a new gimmick for season ticket holders, try to convince nearby farmers to sell their land.
2020 - Expand just inside their campground to finally put the Batman Standup coaster they have up, try to convince nearby farmers to sell their land.
P.S. All speculation, yes it is serious. Fantasy Island can't expand because it's next to a highway and residential developments, Darien is surrounded by farmers who have formed a coalition of sorts against the park to prevent its expansion.

Canada's Wonderland
2016-Replace where skyrider used to be with a really boring coaster
2017- Make a big hubub about a new flat ride
2018- Start doing a "Christmas Craze" cause they've already done halloween
2019-Absolutely nothing
2020- Build the next leviathan, but 10 feet higher with more inversions and colour it red, cause its just that different
