Three Questions Regarding Coaster Building in RCT3 - NiTROACTiVE - Apr 3, 2016 Hey guys, I have three questions regarding coaster building in RCT3. For the first two questions, look at the Raver Racer, a pre-built Hyper-Twister Roller Coaster: ![]() As you can see, it's track has multiple colors as well as coming with two stations with trains that travel by station sync. When it comes to how there are two stations in one coaster, it's called a Mobius Coaster. How could I do this in RCT3 with a custom roller coaster I make? And how could I do this in RCT 1 & 2? As for the track with multiple colors, I tried doing that with the scenery paint brush tool on certain parts of the track, and it worked. But when I saved the track and reloaded it, the track came as one color and didn't save the new colored parts. How can I make a roller coaster with multiple track colors and save it that way too like in RCT 1 & 2? My final question asks if there is a MOD out there that allows you to have roller coaster trains/cars in different colors like you could do in RCT 1 & 2. I can't seem to do that in RCT3. RE: Three Questions Regarding Coaster Building in RCT3 - nathan8848 - Apr 3, 2016 1. Just add station pieces where you want them and add the trains and then sync with adjacent stations. 2. Custom custom colors don't save. 3. Nope. Really liked that feature in 1 and 2. RE: Three Questions Regarding Coaster Building in RCT3 - Terry Inferno - Apr 3, 2016 2. When you say "scenery paintbrush", are you referring to the paintbrush in the scenery window used to paint scenery, or the identical brush in the paint section of the ride customization menu? If the latter, it should save properly with the colors intact, but in order for the colors to show up, you must paint with the alternative color schemes, which can be accessed through the Main Color Scheme drop down menu. The paintbrush in the scenery window shouldn't work in RCT2 for painting tracks. RE: Three Questions Regarding Coaster Building in RCT3 - Maverick360 - Apr 4, 2016 I don't play that much rct3 so I can't help you. Sorry. I meant this paintbrush: ![]() As for alternative color schemes option, I can't seem to find that in RCT3. Also, I tried to make a roller coaster with two stations as one ride as I checked the option 'Sync adjacent stations', but that didn't work at all as seen here. So can I only do that with two roller coaster tracks? RE: Three Questions Regarding Coaster Building in RCT3 - nathan8848 - Apr 4, 2016 From what I can tell is you did this: ![]() What you want to do is this. It should be 1 continuous coaster. ![]() Because if notice Raven Racer is one continuous coaster and the left side ends on the right side station and vice-versa. To change the track/spine/support colors you will need to open the edit window for the track and then recolor each piece that is different from the main build. |
