Experimenting with marshmallows - Larry591 - Sep 29, 2016 After recently building a couple of coasters with giant candy scenery, it occurred to me that when the giant marshmallow blocks are painted a different color, they can actually make a lot of other cool designs.  So over the last few days, I've been experimenting around with them, and here are some screenshots: But this is too big to be a spacemallow station: ![]() When painted brownish-gold, they look kind of like ancient treasures.  Or maybe they're just giant blocks of sand.  Either way, I think they work well with Egyptian scenery (and I can't say that for many other non-Egyptian scenery items). ![]() Who needs ice cubes when you can have snowmallows instead, amirite? ![]() If they only looked a bit more jagged, these could be some pretty solid rock formations (pun intended). ![]() Those are some big pieces of anthracite coalmallows right there.  You've gotta wonder how many miners it took to dig each one out. ![]() That's what I have so far.  Feel free to let me know your thoughts on these.  And if you'd like me to post downloads for the coasters these screenshots are of, I can do that as well. RE: Experimenting with marshmallows - aecrouch2016 - Sep 29, 2016 I like these a lot. But, I think my favorite one is Snowmallows. If it were in build it I'd would vote for it. Nice work. RE: Experimenting with marshmallows - Larry591 - Sep 30, 2016 Thanks.  And if you'd like to download any of these, here are the links: http://rctgo.com/downloads/view/15750 http://rctgo.com/downloads/view/15751 http://rctgo.com/downloads/view/15752 http://rctgo.com/downloads/view/15753 http://rctgo.com/downloads/view/15754 |
