Music Taste? - Slurp - May 19, 2017 Just wanted to see what everyone listens to! My tastes, are weird. Hammer, 2Pac, or DJ Khalid (Khalid for the memes only) This new pop/techno/dance/whatever-you-call-the-garbage is pretty bad, stuff like Bieber... uh... New pop basically. I'd name more examples but I don't even know the artists. Dubstep is kinda cringy at times... Now as for what I actually listen to: "Classic Rock" - my favorites are Boston, Rush, REO Speedwagon, Men at Work, and Kenny Loggins. Southern Rock - Kansas and The Doobie Brothers are by far the best in my opinion. "Classic" Metal - Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and I'd throw Led Zeppelin in here too (although they do much more). - These are just my favorites btw. Newer Rock - Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Saint Asonia, Volbeat, and Breaking Benjamin are probably my faves. Disco - Bee Gee's "Classic" Pop - Michael Jackson, Prince (Who doesn't love the two kings?), Rick Astley (not just for the memes), Pet Shop Boys. Funk - Bootsy Collins, Kool & the Gang RE: Music Taste? - Terry Inferno - May 19, 2017 There are only a handful of artists who have more than three songs that I have deemed playlist worthy. Phil Collins: 15+ tracks Thompson Twins: 7 tracks Thomas Dolby: 6 tracks Haywire: 6 tracks Tears for Fears: 6 tracks Bruce Springsteen: 5+ tracks Devo: 5 tracks R.E.M: 4+ tracks Grum: 4 tracks I have more interest in the song itself than the artist who performs it. Here are 25 of my favorite songs not by any of the artists listed above, categorized evenly into 5 different (liberal) genres. Glam Metal Autograph - Turn Up the Radio Ratt - Round & Round Dam* Yankees - Tell Me How You Want It Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar on Me Y&T - Summertime Girls 80s Pop Roxette - The Look Steve Winwood - Valerie Mr Mister - Broken Wings Don Henley - The Boys of Summer INXS - The One Thing 80s Rock Smithereens - A Girl Like You Honeymoon Suite - New Girl Now Kim Mitchell - Go For Soda David Wilcox - Layin' Pipe Billy Squier - Lonely is the Night 90s Rock Collective Soul - Shine Liz Phair - Supernova Third Eye Blind - Semi-charmed Life Del Amitri - Roll to Me Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) 90s Misc Seal - Kiss From a Rose Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Sailing on the Seven Seas The Heights - How Do You Talk to an Angel Enya - Orinoco Flow Duran Duran - Come Undone RE: Music Taste? - ChrisMDB - May 19, 2017 ^Great picks RE: Music Taste? - BlazingEmpireHD - May 20, 2017 I'll bite.
