Building a park... - KingLiger - Sep 22, 2017 Hey! I have always wanted to build a park. Any tips on how to get started? RE: Building a park... - ChrisMDB - Sep 22, 2017 First, get an idea of what sort of park you want to make: Large and Disney-esque? One like Six Flags? Or even a local park. From there transition into the theming you'll want. RE: Building a park... - MK98 - Sep 22, 2017 I can agree with ChrisMDB. Also first take a look at real parks how they look like. Look at how their paths look like (basicly the lay-out of the park) and from there on plan how you want your park (where to put the entrance, where a coaster should be, where a themed area etc.). RE: Building a park... - Lift Hill - Sep 24, 2017 I agree with Chris and also MK98! Another thing I would add that I do is to have in mind what your park is intended for. Is it going to a family park more like Disney or is it something meant more for the thrill seekers like Cedar Point! I usually do this because your ride choices are going to based around this. But of course, you can always have a little of both or change your mind as you build ![]() RE: Building a park... - Thx1138 - Sep 27, 2017 First, welcome to the board! One tip that comes to mind is putting a kind of "pre-park" or "seed park" up front in the beginning when you need to raise money. A "fun zone" of flat rides in a limited area so you don't need many sweepers to begin with. Something like the one in this pic, of course without the building etc. and probably a lot more modest at first, just a simple, compact, efficient fun zone of a half-dozen or so rides. ![]() Or, as I like to call it, a "cash register." ![]() Financially speaking, it's a great way to beat the game instead of having the game beat you, this little fun zone will keep you in the black and will be the continuous seed capitol needed to get your more ambitious ventures aloft. ![]() Thx ![]() RE: Building a park... - BlazingEmpireHD - Sep 30, 2017 Take some inspiration from real life parks, like others have said from images on Google, or some thing. If ya do not, ya might go nowhere. Good luck, King! |
