Unfortunate, although I'm quite annoyed that the media claimed he was dead Monday afternoon when in fact he didn't die until the early morning of Tuesday, October 3rd...

That is such a shame. He had such great music! He will be missed greatly, but his music will live on, because we're free for fallin' in love with his music!

The video for Free Fallin is what made me want to skate when I was a kid. That girl on the half pipe was my favorite part of the video! RIP Tom Petty

Tom Petty was one of my mom's favorite artists. He was truly a rock legend and many of his songs are true works of art.
