Giant Flume Problem - SpiceyRice - Nov 19, 2017 Hi, I have a problem with splashes in the Giant Flume Ride from RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. When a Lift Chain is placed underwater, and a boat is riding over it it starts splashing, Can someone help? I have some screenshots here are the settings in the opitions.txt: Resolution 1920 1080 StaticBatchTriCutoff 80 DynamicBatchTriCutoff 200 MultiSample 4 CycleMenuMusic 4 GuestLOD 2.100000 1.350000 AnimalLOD 2.100000 1.350000 VegetationLOD 2.100000 1.350000 FenceLOD 2.100000 1.350000 BuildingLOD 2.100000 1.350000 PathLOD 2.100000 1.350000 SceneryLOD 2.100000 1.350000 SupportLOD 2.100000 1.350000 TrackLOD 2.100000 1.350000 RideLOD 2.100000 1.350000 GeometryImposterDistance 400.000000 GeometryImposterTolerance 0.300000 SkipCacheWarming 3.000000 ReflectEnable 1 WaterBumpEnable 1 ReflectTerrain 1 ReflectScenery 1 ReflectPeople 1 ReflectAnimals 1 ReflectParticles 1 BlendSceneryLODs 1 Bloom 1 Refraction 1 EnableIME 0 DetailMapTerrain 0 PathEditorGuiMode 0 WaterDroplets 1 Language "English" RE: Giant Flume Problem - vanellopecoastergirl - Nov 21, 2017 To be honest I think that's just a weird glitch. The reason its happening though is because you're increasing the boat's speed through the water with the chain. Naturally this is going to cause splashing to simulate the increase in wake size. RE: Giant Flume Problem - Maverick360 - Nov 21, 2017 That actually makes a lot of sense. RE: Giant Flume Problem - vanellopecoastergirl - Nov 21, 2017 I figured that. In real life thats what would happen RE: Giant Flume Problem - SpiceyRice - Nov 21, 2017 (Nov 21, 2017, 09:09 AM)vanellopecoastergirl Wrote: To be honest I think that's just a weird glitch. If i decrease the chain speed, will it stop? RE: Giant Flume Problem - The Coaster Creator - Nov 21, 2017 It might. Would be worth a shot. RE: Giant Flume Problem - vanellopecoastergirl - Nov 21, 2017 Maybe, maybe not I don't know. But I hardly build the Giant flume anyway RE: Giant Flume Problem - SpiceyRice - Nov 22, 2017 (Nov 21, 2017, 10:36 PM)vanellopecoastergirl Wrote: Maybe, maybe not I don't know.
