Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - Princess Anna Of Arendelle - Mar 6, 2018 Id like to make something very unique for the build it competition, something that Real Life Companies have never built before. One idea i had was a B&M "boomerang" style coaster but id like to know what kind of inventive coaster you guys can think of. So throw your ideas out and I'll see if I can build it RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - naveisawesome - Mar 6, 2018 How about you try and come up with your own ideas for unique things instead? No offense, but like if any of us have any cool ideas for stuff like that we'll probably just want to do it ourselves, so play around and see what you come up with! RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - The Coaster Creator - Mar 6, 2018 And in my experience, the best ideas always have some really good theming. RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - Princess Anna Of Arendelle - Mar 6, 2018 Like I said I had come up with the idea of a B&M "Boomerang" style coaster. Im just not sure how well it would be received because B&M doesn't make "Boomerang" coasters in real life. Maybe if I make a unique layout for it other hill, cobra roll, vertical loop, hill it might look better RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - ChrisMDB - Mar 6, 2018 If inventive ideas are done well they're generally well received by the community here. Ryu was an unconventional Dive Machine and won, Rattlesnake was a wooden boomerang and won. If you put the time into the project and don't make a death coaster you have a chance. RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - BlazingEmpireHD - Mar 6, 2018 Don't sell yourself short. Allow your creativity to blossom. With every unique idea and roller coaster, should come equally neat and original theming. You can do it! RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - The Coaster Creator - Mar 6, 2018 Also to comment on that, the best way to make it realistic is to look at what B&M has done and figure out how to do that it in RCT3. If you cant then change your layout. PM me if you need any help RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - Princess Anna Of Arendelle - Mar 9, 2018 I've started to build the layout. Because the CTR won't allow a reverse chain lift I had to make it a launched coaster. See if this sounds exciting: Tunnel, Cobra roll, zero G Roll, Dive loop, Large Vertical loop, hill. Then going backwards its large vertical loop, dive loop, Zero g roll, cobra roll, tunnel, tunnel, small vertical loop, small zero g roll hill. Then forward again through the small zero g roll and the small vertical loop and tunnel before stopping in the station. Thats how I designed the ride. RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - The Coaster Creator - Mar 9, 2018 It all depends on the pacing of the coaster through those elements RE: Want to build something "never before done in real life" for Build It - Terry Inferno - Mar 9, 2018 If a 200-foot-tall launched mine train coaster with a 180-foot loop can win, anything is possible. A clever idea will only get you so far, however. A unique layout alone generally isn't enough to pull a coaster across the finish line; the quality of the environment should still be that of a winning entry. A RCT2 player entered a B&M Boomerang once, and as much we liked the idea, there's really nothing around it, so it didn't do particularly well in Build It. https://rctgo.com/downloads/view/revolution.16147 |
